Me neither. Since we booked so close to the cruise we had to pay in full which we did and the first booking confirmation showed 0 balance.

Ok then....they are clearly having annoying accounting issues. Guess I will call them yet again before I actually check in so there are no surprises at boarding. Kind of ridiculous.

Thank you. Since it is our first E class, guess I should have read more about the cabins. I spent too much focus on all the dining options and beautiful spaces 🙂

So we booked a Feb cruise directly on the Celebrity site and got a confirmation, booked in full. All good. Then an hour later got another confirmation, completely wrong with a large balance showing. Called Celebrity fixed! This morning, got a move up offer with yet another copy of my booking with a balance! Then after calling Celebrity this morning about another matter regarding my cabin, I got another booking confirmation with the 2nd incorrect one again. What is going on? Annoying having to keep calling and holding to fix their mistake.

So quick question as I clearly pushed booked too quickly. Two days ago I booked an AQ for an upcoming Apex sailing. What I thought I booked was a regular balcony, confirmation said balcony but when I just got a move up offer email, it says Infinity Veranda. What? After calling Celebrity, was told ALL AQ are Infinity cabins. Is that correct? Not having sailed on Eden class before, mea culpa.

I am now trying to figure out how to upgrade pre-cruise using maybe? my elite discount. But...for some reason I cannot see any links on the website to upgrade only purchase a package? Anyone able to do it? No biggy if I do when we board. Plus so many inconsistencies on different lists. Some don't even have the specialty coffees on classic which am sure is incorrect.

Thought of this as soon as I posted LOL Yes, I will wait to get on board, see how it goes after the first day and upgrade if needed. Done that before, since it is a per day charge anyway. Thanks again LGW59 🙂

So...in the past we have enjoyed our Premium packages. We just booked a one week February cruise and get the Basic package. My understanding is that we can pay the difference between the basic drinks and the premium ones on a per drink basis. I love that Martini bar. Has anyone just paid the difference for maybe 2 or 3 premium drinks (including a glass of wine) and was it any better value than upgrading the package?

Following. Prices seem really high for Eden (most of any specialty restaurant in any of our cruises) for our March sailing. But our OBC can cover it. So any particular table we should be asking for? Open kitchen? I understand there is a show? Any time better than others?

We are in PV. When we booked (this, our first Viking cruise), we had no idea that there were all these booking challenges.

Have really appreciated some of the sage words of advice from other's experiences. So just wanted to share my dining reservation experience that just happened. While dining reservations were supposed to open at 8pm Pacific time which is 11pm here in Toronto, for fun, I went on MJV and the reservations were open!! It is only about 1:30 pm here. Anyway, tables for 2 were open, but times were varied. One Manfredi reservation I got was at 6:30, another 8pm. No surprise there. While Chef's Table times had good options for earlier diners, many of the dates that I had wanted only had late dining. Glad I checked and will definitely go on the app once we board in March. We do want to see the Chef's Table menus to book accordingly.

Thanks for your response WNcruiser And oh oh just booked the beach getaway this morning Any insight as to why it was terrible before we cancel and stay on the ship that day?

My husband has a wheat allergy so is also gf. As others have posted, we think Celebrity can do a better job with gf variety. Toasted raisin bread at dinner? No thanks. Gf burger and hot dog buns would be nice. On our next cruise, we will be taking GF crackers (to go with the cheese and fruit plate we like daily ) I suggest you take some GF snacks/cookies if your son likes to snack.

Booking our March Star excursions tomorrow. Any input from those that have been on either the Beach Getaway or Bamboo Rafting excursions? Thank you.

For those of us cruising on the Star after you, please do us a favor and provide any insight into the excursions (i.e., included, private, through Viking) after your cruise. As far as food and service, while one of the reasons we wanted to try Viking, it is the itinerary that we are focused on right now. BTW the cruise review boards that I have read do have some very positive reviews. Bon Voyage!

Down to our two preferred options in Cozumel since we have been there a few times and wanting to choose something different. Thought quite different, has anyone done and can recommend either or both of these? Electric Bike tour, sightseeing along the shoreline? Our two options for now are Cozumel Tours or Beach Bum Cozumel Atlantis Submarine Cozumel, - apparently we will see coral reefs, fish, etc. If anyone has taken this tour, any issues with claustrophobia? Thank you
