  1. Lee Ann and I decided to take Crystal up on their 2024 offer of a suite upgrade so we will be camping out in an Aquamarine Suite next December. I noticed on their website that there are two floor plans for the suite. Does anyone know which one we will have? We are on Deck 11, Suite 11059 to be exact. Thanks in advance and Roll Tide! Greg
  2. Keith I think you nailed it. From the pics of Osteria d’Ovidio that I’ve seen it looks like the lighting Is too bright. I’m hoping they add dimmer switches to give it some warmth.

Well said sir, and yes I’m a Southerner.

    White Night

I have a pair of solid white sneakers that I could wear with the white pants and shirt if sneakers would be appropriate in the evening. Comments?

    White Night

Didn’t think about the dress code at night. You’re probably right.

    White Night

Ok, so what’s the deal with White Night? Does this happen on every cruise? We are on the 8 night Alaska cruise next August and Lee Ann just went on Amazon and ordered me a pair of white workout pants for the cruise. Greg
  7. Love it saminina! Now I have to turn on the TV to get my daily Seinfeld fix.
  8. What are some decent Italian restaurants within walking distance of the Pan Pacific or in Gastown. Not looking for something fancy or elaborate. Just some good down home Italian cooking.

    Formal Night

I’ve seen it somewhere on the website and I know it’s been mentioned here on the board but I cannot remember how many nights are required in order to have a formal night included. Help me out here. Thanks…Greg

    Back2Back

Our Alaska cruise in August of next year will be our first Back2Back. What will the “turnover day” be like for us? Will anything be required of us or do we treat it like any other day of the cruise. Greg
  13. Crystal had no problem filling up the VR on our last cruise Our VR experience was fantastic but I’m not sure I would do it again. I’m one of those “been there, done that” kind of guys. Greg
  14. Thank you Nancy, Keith and Paul.
  15. Lee Ann and I are booked on the July 2nd Alaska Cruise round trip from Vancouver. We plan on flying into Vancouver on Saturday the 29th giving us 2 full days to explore the city. I have since learned that July 1st is Canada Day, similar to our Independence Day and I’m worried about crowds and possible chaos at the airport. Since it’s still early we have the option to push the cruise back a couple of weeks into the 3rd week of July. What would you do? Thanks…Greg
  16. I would think that the mushroom soup piled high into a sourdough bowl would be fantastic!
  17. Alaska, July 2nd 2024. Only a 7 day cruise but will spend several days in Vancouver pre cruise and post cruise.
  18. Thank you sir. Always there when I need you.
  19. I’m worried about our laundry situation on our Alaska cruise. This will be our first cruise in a “colder climate”. I’m sure we will pack more than we have on previous cruises due to the uncertainty of the weather.
  20. Agree! Im sick and tired of NC and OC.
  21. Keith… I was asking the question in regards to our Alaska cruise next summer. A 10:00 PM closure would work out just fine. I would enjoy hitting the spa after a nice meal. Come to think of it, seeing that this is an Alaska cruise, it probably won’t even be dark at that time. Greg
