  1. Last time we had a tablel for 8, after 2 nights, 4 of them went to different restaurants and one evening it was just us. They came back after a day or two, then it happened again. Don't think it was us!!
  2. Sea trials are not the same as doing actual cruises.
  3. How ridiculous to have a naming ceremony after the ship has been sailing for 2 months!
  4. Agree. We always ask for a table for 8, but often get a table for 6.
  5. We've only done it once in about 20 cruises
  6. I thought you just had to put the name of the Insurance Company and the telephone number of their Emergency line. You put that in your account on Cruise Personalizer.
  7. That's interesting. Someone told me you couldn't do that any more on Freedom.
  8. We have mostly had excellent tables on Club dining, tables for 8 and made some good friends, but it was a really bad table that pushed us to choose Freedom. We will see what our next cruise brings.
  9. I've just changed my October cruise back from Freedom to Club on Aurora. No queuing and they will keep your wine for the next night 🙂
  10. The angels better cover their ears. She had a voice to die for. Just like Vera Lynn, but I take your point!
  11. Thanks Andrew. Quite a shock. We were due to cruise in October on Aurora and as usual joining the choir and hearing those dulcent tones! My lovely TA has cancelled her cruise and also got a refund of FCC for her which is something. xx
  12. Andrew, sorry to mention on here, but our Shirley died yesterday. That magnificent voice will be heard no more. xx
  13. Never needed a trolley. Suitcases have wheels. We always self-disembark. Great! We have never got off earlier than 0830.
  14. I've never had too much OBC, but I wouldn't be buying anything in the shops. Awful.
  15. Aurora every time. I haven't sailed on Ventura, but Azura is the same and I disliked her. Depends on what you like.
  16. The only time I have witnessed bad behaviour was on the only cruise we did on Azura. I never considered P&O to be upmarket at all, but the language and abuse thrown at my husband on that ship had to be seen to be believed. Not seen anything like that on Aurora or Arcadia.
  17. Well if you have to stay off the ship for 6 hours to allow a deep clean, it's rather obvious what the problem is. Agree, they need to be clearer. Like when they move someone's cabin and say "operational reasons" Ha ha.
  18. Didn't sound like it Here is a quote "Amazingly enough Ft Lauderdale let us in, and after quite a long drawn out process we boarded a shuttle bus to the local mall. Not really my choice , but we headed to the free WiFi and found half the ship there" She also said there were about 50 cases of noro on board.
  19. They were told to go ashore in Fort L for at least 6 hours to allow for a deep clean, but they still weren't told why they were not allowed into Freeport! Rather obvious I would have thought.
  20. They missed the Bahamas and ended up in Fort Lauderdale. So it was obviously noro which stopped them disembarking in Freeport.
  21. Yes, I do the same. This time I checked P4C for our October 2023 cruise and it was more than the OBC, so I swapped the OBC for the free parking.
  22. I haven't heard from my friend today on FB, but she had mentioned the noro before they were denied entry. Many cases on board.
  23. Yes, that's just what she said. Dying to get off and enjoy the Bahamas.
  24. Were you also a Stewardess. That's who I am talking to on her own page on FB
