There’s a private ferry that goes from Barangaroo to Black wattle bay . It’s just around the corner ,you would think they would take on White bay cruise terminal. Has anyone tried a water taxi? For a group it might be a viable solution.

I was hoping for Allure in Sydney (or Kembla ?) but I think there’s a little evidence it’s going back to the Caribbean after it’s dry dock . Gavin smith said a couple of months ago Lelepa will be open in 2026 but I think he’s starting to believe his own hype.

I don’t think they would care the slightest ,we had free drinks delivered to a specialty restaurant quite a few times by the suite waitress. You are basically a first class passenger, they do look after you ! You have to expect something for the money you are paying. You should get a free ship tour if you ask the concierge .Also front row seats at shows ,escorts at ports .The suites party is pretty good , free drinks, the captain and a few of his mates will be there. We had the head chef and waiter come to our cabin once ,introduce themselves and ask us to be there guests. Also you will get a private number for the kitchen.Anything you want,they will cook it and bring it up to your for free. The Royal hamburger is good. The concierge will email you the week before your cruise and if there’s anything you want , just tell them,they will sort it for you. Being a suite guest is pretty good for the ego and be warned it’s addictive.

They usually give you a couple of roadies at the end of the session. I used to find I was ready for bed after a few of their martini’s.

It used to be about 8 drinks to break even ,depending what you drink. But unless you are a fish I wouldn’t be bothering with the drinks package if you have a full suite. You can take a bottle of wine each and 12 nonalcoholic drinks on boarding.

Last time I used one it said crew only but it wasn’t locked

I think the way the U.S. dollar is it will be going to the Caribbean to follow the bucks.

The shore excursions are pretty rude also . I’m off to kangaroo island in a few weeks. A example is a ship tour that’s 4 hours for $550, nothing special just site seeing. If you take in tendering and such it probably only about 2.5 hours.

It could be a tech problem,Royal doesn’t really set the world on fire with their systems. I got a email about a couple months ago that final payment was due on a November 2024 cruise . I called ,It was just a glitch. But there could be someone selling information out the back door, these things do happen.

That article says a home port ,turn around ,for Royal Caribbean. I suppose the cruise lines have to wait for the government to make the decision ,they have the final say. That article seems to suggest the outer harbour in Kembla and it looks like there’s a train line . Speculation of the seas Graham and your even speculating now.

As long as there’s ship LNG available. I think it will prove to be a bit of a handicap in the future , the next generation container ship will run on just about anything.

From what I understand it’s about the same size only it’s fuel.
