  1. Those things really beat up your muscles. When I did it My arms and hand for sore for a day. So happy to hear you are now able to go out. That's fantastic. Cheers to you! Great story John. Sounds like you have a future professional photographer. I hope you feel better Mark. I'm glad you have just mild symptoms. I had a parakeet as a boy. His name was "Perky." He was blue and white and I would let him out of his cage in my room and he would fly around and land on my shoulder and nibble on my ear. Fun times. It is hard to catch up. I was off for about 3 hours and when I came back it said there were 60 new posts on this thread.
  2. Lizzy was the runt. Charlie is really long and he will always be a lot bigger than her. I will say when they wrestle she wins a lot. She is not afraid for her pint size. Let me know what you think of the Back Manhattan?
  3. We normally do the Keto thing and do not carbs except for one day a week. You gotta have some fun sometime plus I do love my carbs.
  4. In case anyone is interested in Sea Dog's Black Manhattan recipe. 3oz Rye 1oz Amaro Averna 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters garnish with bourbon soaked cherry In a glass mixing container with ice stir ingredients for 30 seconds and strain into martini glass and garnish with cherry. Great day doing yard work and was able to capture some decent pics of Charlie.
  5. What is your YouTube channel called. I'd like to see your videos. I liked it. It was a little on the spicy side. I did not put it on too heavy. I am going to maybe try it with a mixture of my favorite rub and mixture of Harley's seasoning https://www.harleysseasoning.com/ and Kansas City's Cowtown Steak and Grill Seasoning https://www.amazon.com/Cowtown-Seasoning-7-5-Ounce-Shaker-Bottle/dp/B000WLEITG Meal turned out great and the steak was so delicious. Medium rare of course. I did some cajun shrimp sauteed in butter, garlic and cajun seasoning. Thanks. That was Linda's idea to add that to the patio. I light the light on top and illuminates it at night. Yes he joined us for dinner. I should have made one for the puppies they were rambunctious and could use something to mellow them out. That's great news! I hope there is a season two. The big reveal at the end of season one really begs one. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Love those eyes.
  6. Beautiful day and now time to grill some filets with @A&L_Ont and his special steak seasoning. And of course I can’t grill without a cocktail. Drinking Sea Dog’s version of a “Black Manhattan.” Oh so good! Cheers!
  7. Welcome Sophia to the he club! You are right I remember Jonathan playing little league. Some of the parents were out right crazy and some even to their own children.
  8. I love this. Dogs make me laugh when they lay in these kind of positions. Goofy Charlie does some weird one. Have you watched the prequel to Yellowstone 1883? It's really good. Sorry I'm late. I hope Ryan had a great Birthday.
  9. I've always thought it was bound to happen here. I've already seen increased violence at America's football stadiums. Seems like more and more fights breaking out.
  10. Today will mark the first time in over 35 years that I am not working on Memorial Day since retiring from broadcast television. Almost every year I would do stories on the numerous Memorial Day celebrations including Kansas City's huge celebration at the World War I Museum. I always felt it was an honor to do these stories to remind people what this day is all about. Today I do something different yard work. I'm actually looking forward to it. Tonight I'll grill some steaks and enjoy some cocktails. Thank you to all who served and gave their lives for our country. #Alwaysremember
  11. BINGE WATCH ALERT. Hey if you have Amazon Prime Video, you need to check out a great new series. "Night Sky" is a sci-fi drama that stars amazing acting by JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek. I really don't want to describe the plot too much so to not spoil but it has some very interesting characters, mysterious plots and a reveal at the end of season one that is incredible. Check it out I think you will like it.
  12. I am so sorry. I am thinking of you and your family and holding you in my heart. I hope you have some comfort in knowing she is in a better place and free of any pain.
  13. The biggest problem is that our back yard needs to be re-sod. When it rains the pups track mud everywhere. Thanks goodness we have tile in the kitchen and wood flooring in the living room. We are thinking about taking the puppies to obedience training. How about offering them your budget to elope? 😉 I love all those. I think the Dark & Stormy is a very nice refreshing light drink. Yes they have already decided they want the toilet paper rolls. We have to keep the bathroom doors closed. Always a challenge. It is hard especially when they look at you with those eyes. They melt your heart. That's why I love cats. They could really care less about anything. Thanks. They do like to test us. Walking is going good except now my other knee hurts and can't keep up. What a handsome young man he is. Happy Birthday! Thanks for this. Perfect for a large gathering. Beautiful wedding. The pictures are fantastic. And Congratulations on being grandparents.
  14. Potty training is a lot better but as you know children will always do things they are not suppose to. Now it's chewing on everything. They love to chew on our couch and ottoman. We redirect but it's a challenge. Thanks my friend. I hope you can get some relief for your knees too. They do have their moments see video below. I need to try it with Goslings. I'm not used to the lighter color. The Kraken version is darker. Cheers mate! Here is another video of Charlie and Lizzy having one of their conversations.
  15. I'm sorry to hear this Ellen. I hope you feel better. Hopefully a rescheduled cruise will be soon. Thanks. I think the technology of projection onto buildings is fascinating. Thanks Andrew good advice. I use Jane's Krazy Mixed up salt on steaks and its great too. https://www.janeskrazy.com/ That Letterkenny video is hilarious. I love their stuff. Good question. I think in the long run my quality of life will be greatly improved. Right now I'm still in recovery stage because I still have some pain, swelling and numbness. It will get better with time. IN a couple of weeks I will be 4 months out. I hear 6-8 months people report great progress. I will say that going on my hour long walks my new knee does so much better than my other knee. I used to only walk about 20 minutes and both my knees would be killing me. And now time for some puppy pics.
