I've double checked the CP and it's still showing one. Is the response from PO wrong as well ! Will see, we sail Saturday with/without formal attire will decide tomorrow.
Oh absolutely wouldn't be a surprise if P&O are sending out wrong messages, it's a common theme...
Whatever it is, have a great time.

Just checked our cruise personaliser for our 7 night cruise tomorrow, definitely 2 formal nights.
As you said, first sea day, last port day.
Was worried then about having too many matching handbags😂

Good Morning Everyone
There's a wonderful air of excitement on here today so @zap99, @AndyMichelle, @Ilovemygarden, I hope you all have fabulous cruises, have now got all coats, socks, and undercrackers sorted and packed, and can just look forward to having a great time. Bon voyage. Jane xxx
It's a bit worrying Jane...
I have visions of Zap walking around Woking in JUST his Slash tour T shirt🚶😂

Yes so am I. I checked the weather forecast too - might have to do some swapping around in the wardrobe department!
Just take everything...
That seems to be Michelle's plan
I haven't had any clean underwear for a week and the only socks left are Christmas ones... all packed. 😂🎄

Relax Andy it's Aurora.
Still not news I wished to hear.
Thanks Bill.
I feel for you. We are already having kittens about a fairly late boarding time...
Have a fantastic time.

Oh no... What cruise is this Bill?

My wife keeps telling me this 😬......I'm just a stickler for rules and don't like breaking them. I also like to be comfortable on holiday so it's a fine balance!
That's a smart look.
We like to follow the rules, but as long as the outfit is smart, I'm sure nobody will bat an eyelid.
It's when boundaries get pushed too far that eyebrows are raised.
'Designer' doesn't always mean smart...

We feel P&O still offer fantastic value and enough good things for us to have a great time.
They certainly aren't perfect, but many of us keep coming back, so must be OK.
We have always felt comfortable with the offering and felt it suited us. We have got a couple of Cunard cruises booked, but really not sure we will be at home like we have been previously with P&O.
We board Britannia Friday and are looking forward to clean, comfortable accommodation, plenty of food, good entertainment, good service and affordable drinks.
Very confident that is what we will get.

From our experience in places like Hamburg, it's very much as you assumed.
No need to book, just show your cruise card and charged to your on board account.
If you miss one, just wait for the next.
Be aware though that P&O do not always supply them in every port and sometimes you need to get local buses, which you would pay direct.
Hope this helps.

But you have to pay for these!!!! And you would need to treble your statin pills to counter the high cholesterol content of the cakes.
Feels like we have been on diets forever for this cruise, so a few pounds, in both senses, isn't a deal breaker... 😂

I suppose it's a better way to make sure everyone does it, rather than relying on people to do the right thing and watch the video in the cabin. Reckon they'll let me take a pint with me? 😉
I think they close the bars while muster is on, but I have got there early and got 'supplies' in😁

Back to all standing on Deck/sitting in theatre in lifejackets again?
It sounds like it, we got the email today.
At least I will have a gelato filled doughnut to make it more bearable🍩😂

The 'gelato filled doughnuts' now available in the market cafe sounds like a bit of me...
Having to do a full muster, not so much... 😂

If so, I hope we won't be held back because it looks like we don't have enough luggage. We really have nothing more than 1 backpack each, as hard as it seems to believe for some people (last time we flew to the US, the check-in agent seemed flabbergasted by our lack of suitcases).
Could you please tell my wife how you manage to travel so light... 😊
Your backpack wouldn't cover half the shoes she 'needs'...
Only kidding of course, but it will baffle a lot of people who like to partake in formal nights etc.
We were looking at booking a taxi to the port on Friday, but the app wouldn't let us book for 2 people with 4 cases... 🤷
Have a fantastic time.

Apparently the smoking area on deck 16 has been removed, leaving the only smoking areas being outside the Live Lounge and Java on deck 7.
We don't smoke, but it's a long way down from the pools etc for those that like a quick puff...

Have a great cruise Andy. Are you doing Club dining this time?Thank you.
Yes, 2nd sitting, table for 8 as we are going with family for the first time and all the challenges that come with that...
We have a GF vegetarian, 2 smokers and 2 very fussy eaters, so should be fun😂

Seems like promising news...
La Voix has posted and her cabin has been refurbished with new carpets etc.
So at least some of the cabins have had some attention, she is on deck 8.

It seems the wonderful La Voix is on board from tomorrow and is going to do a floor by floor vlog showing the changes and will post it on the site that can't be mentioned.
Unfortunately this won't tell us much about the cabins though.

Please let us know, I go 5th July!
Of course, I won't do an in depth report, but will give an overview and happy to answer any questions.
Hopefully someone on tomorrows cruise might give us an update.

Our carpets were not good at all and bed settee really worn. It would be really bad if they didn't spruce up the cabins. They must be, surely ????
Our sofa and bed were fine last year, carpets a bit grubby but probably didn't warrant replacing.
The balcony furniture was tatty, but I think they replaced a lot of it soon after.
I will find out on Friday.. Woo Hoo...

Surely they are doing the cabins up a bit in terms of soft furnishings? The casino is the least of the issues
Seems to have been a lot of work in the public areas, let's just hope the cabins got a spruce up, but I'm not holding my breath...

Fantastic...
A steak bake and a Belgian bun instead of afternoon tea would do me fine.

I have heard the casino will be closed on her first cruise (Sunday?) As it's not finished.
That's a surprise as they had started work on it before the last cruise ended...
Must be quite a transformation to take that long, or someone forgot to order the carpet😂
