I'm cheap. $20 waiter / $20 asst waiter / $20 Head Waiter I'm assigned to (he's the one who takes my special meal order) & inform corporate how helpful he was / $20 steward /$2 each room service. But I've noticed that the room service & steward like those dove chocolates & individual chip bags. I laughed when someone mentioned that here on CC but they disappeared!! Told steward to take 1or 2 each day (his choice, he liked BBQ chips) and asked each room service person to help self if s/he wanted. Odd thing ..... after the 3rd time I got the same guy every day and he would go straight for the dove chocolates. Yes packing dove chocolates for next trip too
  2. I completed the captain circle update form firing P.O. over the weekend and then sent an email to one recommended by a friend I made at a M&G. She called at 8:15 am!! Explained that she responded in whatever fashion I contacted her stating she's 'old school.' I think its fixed, anyway she's my CVP now. Booked cruise, transfers (as a solo uber & princess transfers are the same $$s), got me a much MUCH better ezair fare (nonstop) than I could see. Best yet she called!!
  3. Didn't have to!! New one called, booked a 6/26/22 cruise + air, all paid & set. Buying FCDs the minute I get onboard and taking a screenshot this time.
  4. Yes. Mine retired in January. The new one is so useless I'm thinking about going to a TA if I can't shake her but then my experience with TAs weren't any better than the new CVP
  5. I couldn't get her to respond about the one I booked with her. I'm done ✔ Have another on hold that I will not book until she's off my file
  6. MR had stated she only got points if she booked the cruise or I paid through her. And yes, although CVPs draw a salary they really need those booking points. New CVP only booked 1 of the 3. I did have her enter a cc# to pay the minimal due on 1st 2 cruises which would give her points on the other 2. Unfortunately once I change planners to one a personal friend (also on CC) recommended the new planner won't get any points at all on those 3: not for booking / not for payments unless I un- couple those from my Visa card. But if I have an EZAIR issue getting to Southampton or Sydney that's who I'm contacting. So I need a responsive CVP Definitely unfair.
  7. @rabin1i did call him but he and I did not click. And yes, I wanted to give mine a chance but if she responds she's now confrontational. Probably bc it takes a long time / I had to go to chat to get an answer which upsets her / I'm only supposed to email once a week with each cruise on their own email (I've got 3 cruises booked) Anyway I've asked that she be removed from my file

  9. Had a great time at my last one bc of the other 7 at the table. Only sampled 2 of the selections after the others didn't pass the smell test. We talked & chuckled the whole time
  10. I can't get mine to respond via phone call or emails. How do I get reassigned?
  11. Caveat: ask for a bill before getting off .... I did at 1:30am. I noticed there wasn't a charge for buying a FCD and I hadn't received an email that my Visa was charged. Tried to correct but I still cannot find it. Ah well, I'm back on in 4 months & will get 2 then. Can it be bought afterwards??
  12. Whats in Port website says its 80 miles from Saigon but it also says to take a shuttle. Does the port have shuttles to the city? I will be on Princess if that's relevant
