  1. Carnival should release the lurgy numbers, keeping them secret is not right, there should be transparency, pending pax have a right to know. Hope the media get onto this.
  2. Whaaat Julie, too expensive for Lane Cove ? My son reckons you have to be rich to live in such a leafy garden suburb. !!
  3. It is a nice ship Julie, having been on it twice in the past 5 - 10 years in Alaska and Panama Canal. Well it was when it was carrying 95% Americans and operating from USA/Canada. Depends whether Princess is keeping up the standard for us Aussies. I just think sometimes the cruiselines 'drop the ball' when they come from overseas to this region for a season. Having seen both sides of the coin, so to speak. Anyway... Bon Voyage for Sunday, Julie and Rolf and all the other CC'ers on the cruise, above all enjoy !!!
  4. I agree, not the most exciting of ports, with all due respect to those from the Sapphire Coast and the Hunter. Once you have been there, you have been there and done that, lol. Far South Coast is freezing in winter, frosts the whole Monty. In recent weeks it has been zero overnight down here. Today not too bad, 7. But Eden is a cold and windy place in winter, no problem getting a sun lounge/deck chair on the ship, lol.
  5. Post 121 from Kennex, shorts and caps seen at dinner service, does not matter whether it was formal night or normal night, shorts and caps are not permitted @ dinner in the MDR. As for caps carte blanche they should never be allowed to be worn in the mdr at any time. Down here in the golfie and rissole, no caps permitted to be worn inside club, remove at reception, if you refuse, no admittance, fair enough too, let us have some decorum in the forum.
  6. Spot on there Geoff, playing with the numbers for sure to keep the governments and media quiet.
  7. You have your finger on the pulse there Geoff. You are more reliant and informative then the people on the phones at Princess Office in Sydney.👍
  8. Yep a fair climb up that hill, recent roadworks, foopath and rail now from wharf to town, but wharf area is one big construction site, demolished most buildings.
  9. Hope you are imbibing a few adult beverages to counter the shock, Julie.
  10. No mdr for me on hal, lido buffet all the way now, shorts and thongs.
  11. Several years ago but mikey22 just reported such species were observed on Coral mdr, this week. Scandalous.
  12. I think there may have been a covid explosion on the cruises thus far, but being kept under wraps. I may be wrong but all this sounds a funny colour.
  13. Julie, 23 Nov, domestic, Eden, Tas, Vic, south australia back to Sydney13 days, that could be canned too. Carnival might not even send the ship over now, who knows, that is if they are canning the longer cruises.
  14. Figures, scared of covid numbers exploding and media getting hold of it., but most will do 3 or 4 back to backs, the same really.
