Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you staceyglow and mz-s. This is the week that we can take for vacation and this sailing fits perfectly. We just did the Magic two months ago same timing.
  2. We are thinking of taking a cruise on the Sunrise at the end of November. Has anyone recently sailed on her? Thinking of an ocean view cabin. We usually get a balcony but trying to keep the cost down a bit. We would appreciate any thoughts on the ship. Thank you and Happy New Year to all!
  3. Sorry no pictures of it. They were not real heavy. Just not fun carrying the bag with all the stuff. trying to fiil the sack with sand in the heat then having to empty the sack and bring it back to the excursion hut.
  4. Don’t rent the beach umbrellas that are under the excursions! We just did that on our November cruise. You have to drag a heavy bag that holds the umbrella a small shovel and a plastic “pouch” that you have to fill with sand. There is no point at the end of the umbrella pole. It is a lot of work and then at the end of the day you have to pack it up and bring it back to excursion hut. Horrible!

  6. Hi Jam19872016! Have a safe drive to Miami. We sail on the Magic tomorrow also! It is me, my husband and our adult son. We’ve been on the Magic several times before but this is our first time sailing any ship from Port Miami. Does anyone know how we know which terminal we will be sailing from or is the only way to find by following the digital signs at the port? Thank you and have a great vacation!
  7. Sorry but would you mind telling me what the term fantastica level is? Sorry if it’s a silly question. Thank you
  8. My family has sailed on Disney, Norwegian, and Carnival (platinum). All three cruiselines have been great with my sons gluten allergy. We are thinking of booking a cruise for October 2024 on the Seascape and was wondering what people have experienced on MSC regarding dining with a food allergy. As an example have read that people love the pizza on MSC. Carnival has gluten free pizza and my son says it’s pretty good. Thank you everyone for taking time to offer your help.
  9. Thank you very much for the information!
  10. We are sailing on the Carnival Magic on November 26th. We need to park at the port and are trying to decide whether to park at the port or offsite. We are leaning toward parking at the port because we could just walk to the car and get on our way as we have a long drive back to Orlando. We see that there is a garage at terminal G but we also see an uncover lot near terminal E I believe. If anyone has parked at either one give some advice or details on this it would be appreciated. Thank you
  11. Hi everyone. Quick question. My husband and will turn platinum on our upcoming cruise. Since we will have priority boarding do we still have to pick a boarding time? We like to arrive at the port early to get on board for the first group. So do I have to log on at midnight to get the time we want? Sorry if this is a silly question but I like to cover all the bases. Thanks very much for your help!
  12. Happy to see that Carnival has reinstated the late night menu however I am disappointed that they chose to only provide close slaw and potato salad for gluten free options.
