Port of Miami cruise parking

We are sailing on the Carnival Magic on November 26th. We need to park at the port and are trying to decide whether to park at the port or offsite. We are leaning toward  parking at the port because we could just walk to the car and get on our way as we have a long drive back to Orlando. We see that there is a garage at terminal G but we also see an uncover lot near terminal E I believe. If anyone has parked at either one give some advice or details on this it would be appreciated. Thank you

Surface lot E is for oversized vehicles. As per port of Miami web-site:

Surface Lot E

  • Open lot with no overhead clearance with designated spaces for oversized vehicles
  • Accommodates oversized vans, recreational vehicles and vehicles with trailers
  • $22 per space, per day. If two spaces are utilized, $44 per day
  • If assistance is needed to park an oversized vehicle, please call 305-960-5463 or 305-960-6454
