  1. I wouldn't worry - he wouldn't recognise you either.
  2. I keep reading this but cannot work out what you are trying to convey. I would be interested in a clarification as it is an interesting practical issue I have been wondering about.
  3. Welcome to the parallel universe that is the mysteries of P&O communications!
  4. It is "book on board" too for our July 8th cruise.
  5. I assume you mean Saturday November 12th 2022? There is always a Sunday service every Sunday in every ship so it will no doubt be with at least a nod to the significance of Remembrance Sunday - what are you hoping for?
  6. Yes - Aurora leaving on July 8th:"opening days and times in our speciality restaurants are being affected, as well as service in some bars". Fortunately we don't use the speciality dining rooms or the bars, but understand the unhappiness from those who see these as major parts of their cruise experience.
  7. Just booked a tour for my forthcoming cruise, and this is the confirmation received for myself and my wife. She is not best pleased! Guests: MISTER BERNARD BUTLER MISTRESS JANE BUTLER Price:
  8. But be careful here. I use the Boots service and although they allow up ti a total of 6 people on the same phone app, they must all be members of the same family group.
  9. Are P&O cutting back on the chairs now?
  10. I can only assume these reductions are "for operational reasons".
  11. In my experience, if you based your investments to the comments made by so-called "analysts", you wouldn't be investing for long.
  12. If your cruise is not until Jan 2023 I think you will find that they will appear in due course. I had the same situation with another cruise and couldn't see any logic in why one port was only "coming soon" for months, but eventually all appeared and it was O.K. Patience will bring its own reward!
  13. Just trying to help him with some lateral thinking. In the meantime, as the cruiser and his TA are getting nowhere at the moment, surely plenty of fellow countrymen will already have had to deal with this generic (Carnival-wide) issue - he needs advice from someone who has already faced the issue. I maintain some Cunard USA passengers will have done so, and they are a helpful and vocal lot over there on the Cunard site. If the cruiser finds out how it is done with USA Cunard Southampton passengers then he only needs to ask for confirmation from P&O that the same procedure applies to him, which it surely will - how can P&O and Cunard not have matching rules re proof of vaccinations requirements for USA passengers embarking at Southampton?
  14. Plugtheleak - as Harry has also referenced, when you buy shares you are buying them from someone else, an existing shareholder, who is selling them. Only the purchaser who bought them from the company when the shares were first issued is paying money to the company. The company gets that one-off payment for which it issues the share certificate and thereafter the market in the shares is effectively a second-hand market.
  15. will I be able to refill my bottle at anytime of the day? thank you, Anna Yes - 24 hours access to the buffet water machines.
