Thanks all..don’t get me wrong; that “jackpot” did NOTHING to my overall loss; but it was a morale booster for sure. also; I was talking to the couple who’s killing dragon link..HE has 58,xxx points and SHE has like 25,xxx..and I told him that’s the most points I’ve seen anyone get on a 7 day; BY FAR..then a dude sits next to him, totally unassuming..THIS DUDE has 60,xxx points!! WOW! What’s going on, on this cruise!? EDIT: I myself cracked over 30,xxx last night. Which is CRAZY for me; because I don’t think I’ve ever got over 10,xxx points!

Jeeeeeze! so I went to the casino after catch, at 9:30…annnnd I didn’t leave until 3am! I didn’t even realize I was there that long!!! the good news, I FINALLY got a dang handpay (lol aces for $1207) The couple playing the dragon links were still there..and STILL absolutely crushing it hitting handpays ($1200+ every few minutes) just absolutely insane…I guess both ends of the spectrum..if you’d of told me I’d lose $10,000 playing no bigger than $10 spins, in 2.5 days..I’d of called you a liar..but if you’d of also told me this couple would hit close to $100k worth of jackpots in the same timeframe, I’d of equally not believed you… Anyway..here’s my “jackpot” photo

Main course and desert catch of the day (dorade) and “love is in the air” rudi’s was goooood also I really feeling those three old fashioned’s..maybe time to go find a new Mrs. Cruiser! (j/k..lonely man place time)

Appetizer..I also ordered a second appetizer (shrimp on the rocks) so I get the best of all worlds tonight (shrump, lobster and feeeesh) also had two old fashioned’s heading for a third.

Sat down at catch..funny; the gentleman sitting next to me recognized me from the slots..said “how are you doing? I seen you betting pretty good and had money in the machines”..i said “horrible..down $8000” and he said “ohh wow….silicon valley??” And I said; “good call; but still no one wants to lose $8000.” he thought because the other two gentleman that were playing next to me were winning like crazy, I was too..NOOOOPE. also; next to him is @sonomaphiland his wife (keep running into you! Haha) on another note; I noticed on my comp at the hostess desk it said “NO WINE!”..pretty stingy if you ask me, considering when they wrote it I was down $4000. i ordered the lobster appetizer and the “catch of the day” (dorade) here’s the bread plate with spread..

It’s crazy..but I think I hear them pulling up the anchor! (What sounds/feels like a huge chain going clunk-clunk-clunk)

Platinum/Elite lounge goodies i got a shrimp cocktail, sushi, and the pot stickers. my drink is the “Deep Sea”..very good this will hold me over until Catch, tonight at 7:30

So; I hopped on a tender around 1:45, and headed over to Cabo in search of Deodorant..now; inside the “port” area, there is actually a “pharmacy” that sells a lot of stuff; but all they had was spray deodorant (which I don’t like). so I asked if he had any other ideas who sold stick..and he said maybe OXXO; which was out behind Senor Frogs..on the way though; I passed a LARGE souvenir shop that said “pharmacy” also..I was in luck! Deodorant acquired! For anyone else that needs a good selection of “sundries” products quick at Cabo..definitely recommend this place. Literally across from Senor Frogs. back in the room now; going to watch Bladerunner. (I must comment on the princess movie selection; I can SAFELY say, it’s back to its pre-pandemic awesomeness! A LOT of cool movies to watch..classics and ones that are brand new too!)

Gotta get up and get cleaned up. Going to hit the lunch buffet (this time I’ll go to the BACK to see the better options! Haha) Afterwards, I may tender into Cabo to see if I can get some deodorant. the weather outside looks absolutely gorgeous..hope to see whales off my balcony.

Yes; but not in anything close to HD; “360p” was the best I could get without severe chop.(buffering). An iPad screen is about the biggest you’re going to go without it getting grainy. sad to..because before the pandemic; 100% the WiFi was better…but then again..people were “scared” to be without it. (Just my opinion)

lol I turned this… into this (yes they gave me an extra order of fries I didn’t actually order; also the chicken tenders were mostly horrible)

Well I’d like to say I was at least even…and I did have a run where I built my player bank up to $3500…but alas now I’m stuck $8000. still more time to go; I’m up to 21,000 points now (which is a record high for me; sadly not a record loss…yet) Back in the room now..ordered a big load of room service (last ate at 7). Going to get my grub on and watch either a movie or YouTube. Probably get up around 11, so I can go to the lunch buffet and see what’s good. Then mill around the ship, maybe watch another movie or just sleeeep

Pecan turtle cheesecake dessert; it was gooood

Main course (beef tenderloin) was GREAT! Asked for it medium-rare and it was exactly that. I probably could have ate MORE of it..but then I’d just be miserable haha

Yes; if you intend to get WiFi..then it’s only the cost of two cocktails each day..very easy to do that

Yeah and I haven’t even used my “casual dining” credits..I’ll probably use those at Gigi’s and Sushi on the last two sea days.

Also shout out to @sonomaphil my homie from our “cell block”, for the shoutout during the slot pull. (when you walked past me in the hall earlier I THOUGHT it was you)

Haha I think my steward feels sorry for me. i went up to change into a collared shirt and pants and I saw him and exchanged pleasantries..then when I came out after changing he was still there and he asked me “you’re not here with any family or friends?” I said; “nope; just me” and he’s like…ohhh…… it’s definitely better than sitting in a big empty house and having to cook for myself. plus, gambling is 100% the lonely man’s game..always people ready with either a celebration or sob story..

damn; played on slots from like 2:30-6:00; played at the bank of dragons links..dudes playing with me were having a good ole time..one dude was betting pretty healthy..($25-$50 a spin) hit a $5000 ball..then later on a $10,000 ball!!! needles to say he’s bankrupting the casino! He’s got 38,000 points I myself got absolutely wrecked and am now down $5500; but we ain’t dead yet! Had a few heartbreaks today with hands that COULD have been monsters (dealt four to a Royal with multipliers; any ONE would have been $4k) going to get dressed and head for first sea day (formal) dinner. afyer dinner probably more casino..if my two buddies are back on dragon link. (Or I can get one of the two GOOD poker machines)

Damn; these dragon links are going off: just watched someone pop a $5000 ball. Of course; homies got like 20,000 slot points already; so he’s definitely swinging hard. indropped a quick $300 at one of the four multigame vp’s (there’s a COLD pair that has always been open, then there’s a HOT pair which people are playing KENO! on) I finally was able to score a dragon link; but some rando is saying he doesn’t know how to use slots on the ship so he “lost” his $100 bill in it (probably put cash in then walked away and it went on the next players medallion)
