  1. i wonder if it's only available to book after you've paid for the cruise? I booked and paid in full for a cruise and bought the vibe passes while booking. I have another cruise in October that's showing "too early to book", but I've only put a deposit down on that one.
  2. Could you post some of the dailies if possible? I just want to see the page with all the activities. Thank you!!
  3. these responses are pure gold. loving it!
  4. I'm hoping you post some of the dailies for us.
  5. it's worth every penny. do it! (assuming you are cruising someplace warm and there is at least 1 or 2 sea days. If you have a port every day or it's a new England cruise... ehhh, may not be worth it. Although I do love having the "special" bar just for vibe folks. the bartenders really know you and it's a great atmosphere)
  6. question... for the other US ports that aren't the departure port, are there taxes on the drinks while in port? Or just in NYC since that is the departing port?
  7. I was on the epic in March. There were a couple of comedy shows in there. They also used it for the "canvas by u" classes. Attached is a picture from the one I did.
  8. i normally do a dollar. i fold it up and hand it to them discreetly when I hand over my card. My husband is on the other camp and says we already tipped... Either way is fine. I do tend to get better service than he does though.
  9. thanks for the replies. I've always looked up what i wanted on the NCL website then called my PCC to book. I will have to check out using a travel agent next time to see if the perks are worth it for me.
  10. I'm a big fan of calling up my PCC to book a cruise. I'm curious what benefits and reasons others have for the way they book. What's everyone's preferred method for booking a NCL cruise? Do you use the NCL website, travel agent, PCC, or something else?
  11. I was on the Gem last october. There was a nightly solo gathering at Maltings (whiskey bar).
  12. i was on a cruise in oct that had an 18+ dueling pianos show. There was a family with quite a few 13-16 year olds sitting in the front. They kept requesting Disney songs. Everyone in the audience groaned everytime. No one wanted them there. The singers even told them multiple times it was 18+. Since they wouldn't leave, they toned it way down. In my opinion, they felt entitled to do what they wanted at the expense of everyone else. The rules don't only apply when it benefits you.
