Mail hold was a hassle. Anyone else experience that.🤔  Apparently you need to create a USPS account.

And of course, it didn't work. I had to drive to the Post Office. They agree it's a WCCF. 😱

As far as I can tell, their IT dept must be staffed by ex RCI interns😉

I just did one for an upcoming weekend cruise on Navigator... no problem.  Create an account on usps.com like you were going to purchase stamps.

I am interested to hear about the laser tag.  Do you have to book pre cruise or while on board?  If, you have to book while onboard, where?  Can a 10 yr old go by herself or if an adult has to accompany her?

I took my 2 young nephews on Symphony in June.  Sign up for laser tag is on deck 4 by Studio B on embarkation day.  We were only allowed to sign them up for one session.  You can go in the standby line if you want to go again, they moved rather quickly as a lot of people do not show up for their reservations.  I had to accompany the boys but did not need to participate in the game.

I don’t know when port closes however the bridges become unsafe with wind speeds of 45 mph. Bridges will be closed after storm passes so they can inspect them this can take 24-48 hours and would present a problem getting to and from port. Tuesday 0200 to Wednesday evening will be when Dorian is off our coast. Doubt you’ll be back in port Wednesday!

When the sustained wind gusts reach 39 mph the Port is closed.

Royal Caribbean does not have rollaway beds.  We asked as we had 2 of our grandkids share a Crown Loft one time.  We were still only 4 in a cabin, and were afraid they wouldn't sleep well sharing the small pullout. But we were told no to rollaways for safety reasons as they'd create a problem with evacuating a cabin.  I think the real reason is they don't carry them because of lifeboat space.  Just my guess.  But we were told no rollaways.

I was just on Symphony and they did provide a rollaway bed for the grand suite.

  5. It would be very unusual for RCI to call from a Fort Lauderdale number.  Most of their calls are from 888 or 866 numbers.  The upsell fairy was 866.  Any calls coming directly from their headquarters would come from Miami with a 305 area code.

My cell phone area code is 954 (Ft.Lauderdale) I get calls with spoofed telephone numbers displaying 954 area codes all the time.

I would pick up next time.

has anyone stayed in this handicapped suite and if so did you have a scooter?  How easy was it to navigate the scooter into the room and then turn it around to go back out?  Is there a power outlet in the suite to use for charging?

My husband and I stayed in this room when Oasis was new.  He was using a scooter at the time.  He would 'park' his scooter in front of the moving table, from there it was an easy back out and drive out.  The only obstacle is the door needs to be held open.  The bathrooms on both floors are handicap accessible. No worries with power outlets for charging. He loved the elevator!
