has anyone stayed in this handicapped suite and if so did you have a scooter?  How easy was it to navigate the scooter into the room and then turn it around to go back out?  Is there a power outlet in the suite to use for charging?

My husband and I stayed in this room when Oasis was new.  He was using a scooter at the time.  He would 'park' his scooter in front of the moving table, from there it was an easy back out and drive out.  The only obstacle is the door needs to be held open.  The bathrooms on both floors are handicap accessible. No worries with power outlets for charging. He loved the elevator!

  2. Just a few less pricey things... You could have the room decorated for less than $50., private lessons for flow rider could be better than standing in line for a turn. You can also get  You can pre-order a gift that will be in the room when you check in such as a RCI baseball type hat or a RCI towel.  You can also purchase $25. of arcade credits for $20. pre-cruise.  If you can swing the GS it is a great room with lots more space than the JS.  Many will tell you not to spend the money on the room since you won't spend that much time in it, but if your son gets tired easily it could be a good investment for all to be comfortable when he needs to rest.  Hope your family has an enjoyable cruise.

Thanks to all that responded. The cruise has been sold out for a while now. It is in 3 weeks.  No cabins are available to be switched according to TA. It looks like the connecting cabin is only for two persons, so it should be quiet at night.

Don't stress over the cabin, I have been in many cabins that are connecting and never had an issue with neighbors.  Hope your experience is the same.

Does anyone else remember when Oasis first sailed there was a pinnacle lounge on the 17th floor port side? I remember peeking in & thinking it was a beautiful room. Did I dream that? Maybe having something like that would help. Make the DL for Diamond + only & give Diamonds drinks on their card. Just a thought. At some point there WILL be too many Diamonds for any lounge to handle.

Yes there was a lounge on one side and a chapel on the other side.  To the best of my knowledge that lounge was rarely used... it was just an empty lounge with no perks.

Was the bid accepted on the third pending cabin or one of the expired cabins (and I’m assuming it didn’t actually say “expired”, but “no cruises found”)?

Yes the third one was accepted.  I bid on JS, GS and CLS.  When I checked the JS and GS both said EXPIRED,  I have never seen no cruises found.  The CLS said pending and the next day I was notified the CLS bid was accepted.  I have no idea what no cruises found could mean.
