  1. I've been looking all over my booking to add the HIA package for the 3rd person, but I can't seem to find it. How do I do this?
  2. Looking at the package details and everything (excursion, specialty dinner, beverages, gratuity) say's for 1st/2nd guest. How does this work if you have a third person? Do they pay additional for everything, including gratuities? Can you pre-pay for the 3rd person's gratuities?
  3. Once my tabs had a boarding pass tab clicking on it had the QR code and the check-in window times.
  4. I never said anyone should stay home. You're right there is risk in everything, even staying home. People have different experiences and different comfort levels. That's why everyone should be mindful of their own comfort level of safety and not be scoffed at or mocked by others. Have you ever been alone and followed? It can be scary. I listed 2 concerns, not show stoppers. Obviously I'm still going and with the medallion but that doesn't mean I can't also consider risk.
  5. I have my first cruise with medallion coming up. If I had known a key card was still an option I may have opted for it instead. My concerns with the medallion have to do with its proximity based unlocking of cabin door. Sounds like a great idea if you have your hands full, but a couple of scenarios concern me. 1) It used to be if you lost your card, no worries. Someone finding the card would have to insert it in each door to see where it fit, which would look really suspicious. Now someone can just walk the decks slowly past the doors and hear the door unlock and see the panel. Yes I know, once reported the old one can be disabled, but there is still a window of risk. 2) When walking alone, maybe late at night, back to your cabin, if you are uncomfortable someone is following you, you could just keep walking to public/populated place and no one would know your stateroom. Now they may be able to determine which stateroom is yours as you walk past. People can scoff, but cruises are like little cities and bad things unfortunately can and do still happen.
  6. My adult kids are the same. My daughter has been cruising since she was 2.5 years old and my son since he was 9.
  7. That can be a bug in the software displaying the data and not the actual data. So one app shows data correctly and the other has a bug and shows it incorrectly.
  8. Thanks everyone for the great information. No mobility issues, just an over planner. 😁 i know i want to go to spa upon boarding as I have questions and was just wondering would I need to go up or down or forwarded, so this was really helpful! I have the app and have been getting familiar with the deck plans, so i think im good. Thanks again.
  9. Thanks everyone! Do you choose the forward or aft ramp or are you directed to a specific ramp?
  10. I've been studying the Discovery deck plans to be familiar with the ship before boarding. On embarkation I'm wondering what deck we start on, so I know how to get to where I want to go first.
  11. Can you book a single day (same day as spa treatment) or do you have to book the entire week? If so how much is a day?
  12. I'm on Discovery. I won't use it enough to pay for a week. I guess I'll wait to see if I can buy a day pass. My treatment is on a port day so crossing my fingers. Thanks everyone.
  13. Thanks. Well, that's a bit disappointing. Does anyone know what a single day fee would be on treatment day, or do you have to purchase the whole week?
  14. Oh I just found the following on my reservation. I don't know what the relaxation areas are but it sounds like steam and sauna are included with Thermal Suite extra. We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment to begin your Lotus Spa experience by unwinding in our relaxation area, Thermal Suite*, steam room and/or dry sauna (on select vessels). *Thermal Suite - separate fee applies
  15. Thanks. Seems so weird. I've never been to a spa where you were not allowed to use the facilities after treatment. But I couldn't find any information online hence the question.
  16. When having a spa treatment (massage and facial), is The Enclave included for the day of the treatment? If not, is the expectation that you get treatment and then leave the spa?
  17. I don't know that this is the right/same domain. All my emails are from princess.com and not princesscruises.com. This smells like phishing to me.
  18. Previously I had tried the web version but it also got the error as did chat and calling and both apps. Waited a few weeks and decided to try again and 🙌 it worked!
  19. Update - I just tried again using the web version and it worked. So now I have The Catch reserved. For others that were having issues, try again, and I hope it works for you as well.
  20. I kept thinking I wish they had the pics on the menus. It would make selection easier. 😁
  21. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the suggestions. I wish I knew how to find an amazing TA that gives OBC or other extras. I just haven't been lucky enough to find one of them. Every one I look at offers nothing above the published fare online. Oh well I guess I'll just keep researching for my questions and book myself. Well either that or resign myself to being on the phone for a fair amount of time to get a supervisor that will hopefully give me a PCC with answers I can trust. Thanks again.
  22. Thanks! So one more quick question. How do they save you money? In other words, can they save you money that isn't online for you to book yourself? I'm asking because I've always just booked myself and the few times I've asked for a quote they either came in identical to what I could do myself or one time a little higher. I hate having to sit on the phone, so I'm weighing if it is worth it to me or not.
  23. I've never used PCC for booking, I've always done it myself online so I had full control of things. But I had questions so I thought I could email and get answers, then asked for the quotes because she was talking about offers I didn't see online. I was looking at Eurodam in Alaska for 2025. I did find the following on the cruise only. Maybe this is what she was trying to explain with the cancellation protection, but it's not what she said. 🤷‍♀️ "This is a special fare and certain restrictions apply. This promotional fare has a 50% reduced deposit that is 100% non-refundable unless one of our Cancellation Protection Plans is purchased at time of booking."
