  1. Looking at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach & the Courtyard Cocoa beach, as they both offer fly snooze & cruise packages, anyone had experience with either hotel? Also looking at Embassy Suites Hotel about a mile from the airport, but wondering which shuttle service to use to get from there to the port, then back to the airport. Still doing homework as you can tell, any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  2. Is there much variation on what games are located in the casino ship-to-ship? On the Freedom last year, there was just one Texas Hold 'em Table (one of those electronic dealer-less robot tables, and I had to use my Sign & Sail, which I hadn't accounted for -- I got used to it, but I wasn't a fan). Are any of the fleet equipped with real Hold 'em tables? I'm sailing the Miracle next month, so any info pertaining to its casino is particularly helpful. I'm trying to determine how much money I'm planning on losing :).

I haven't seen a real Texas Hold'em table since we were on our 1st cruise on the Elation back in 2006. Then there was only 1, and after that cruise, all we've ever seen is the electronic table. :( I know they have 3 card poker, which is normally what we play, they have blackjack, and some other tables with different variations, roulette, of course, and a few other games, and lots of slots! Seems to me that with the amount of people that want a true Texas Hold'em table with a real live dealer that they would take the hint, make it happen, and do away with the electronic ones. When are you going on the Miracle, we'll be on her the week of Feb. 23rd..........can't wait! :D

  4. Definitely looks like Costa Maya to me. Before the hurricane of course.

That's exactly it, I can't wait to go back we loved it there.

I also love this shot as well, it wasn't taken in Costa Maya, it was taken on the open ocean at the end of the 1st day of our very 1st cruise in June of 06 on Elation. Nothing like the open water with the only traffic being a passing ship a little further out. The shot of the sun isn't that great, but I love the rest of the picture.

  6. I think this one sums up how much fun we have when we go, this one was taken in St. Thomas, in June of 2007 while we were parasailing, and we were sailing on the Carnival Valor.

And to me this one shows how beautiful, it's St. Thomas, taken in June of 2006 and we were sailing on the Carnival Elation. The time & date stamp on the pics is wrong, it wasn't set right, however, it's actually 2 pictures side by side to show the whole picture, but still gorgeous.

  7. Hi all!

I just wanted to reply regarding cabin #2465 on Carnival Glory. We returned from our honeymoon cruise on 5/17/08 and stayed in this room as it was recommended by Carnival for our honeymoon. It is a great room with two large windows.

I know there has been some question about the bed situation in this room. When we booked, we were told there would be two twin beds pushed together in this room. We were skepitcal, especially after seeing pics and reading comments on this forum. However, we can tell you without a doubt, that we had two twin beds pushed together in our room. It's likely that this room can be situated to accommodate single cruisers, couples, or parents with children.

    Any pics by chance?

  8. We sailed on the Glory in the summer of 2006 and stayed in cabin 2470 which is right next door to cabin 2462. It also has 2 windows and is HUGE! Our cabin steward told us that it was the size of a suite at an "ocean view" price! Having those two windows gives you such a feeling of spaciousness!

    Do you have any pics?
