It is always fun to see crew members that you have met on previous sailings. I am surprised they usually recognize me before I recognize them! Does anyone know the Captains and Cruise & Travel Directors currently assigned to Holland America ships?

We noticed it was closed on our NS sailing earlier this year. Deck 11 aft was also closed on the Oosterdam last year. I understand it is usually under utilized. Now the crew primarily uses it as safe haven for crew to socialize and is also one of the few smoking areas for the crew. I am sure this may be the case on the other HAL ships as well. Perhaps with the heavy bookings lately they will open it up for guests at least on warmer sailings.

This price includes the gratuity. The Mariner discount is applied on the final bill.

We normally receive tiles towards the end of our cruises, However, we have been waiting for the tiles from a Koningsdam cruise in February. A note to customer service says it a supply chain issue and they will be mailed to us when they receive them - it now been 7 month! Is anyone else experiencing long delays in receiving these?

Does anyone know what type of plug ins (in any) are bedside on the Oosterdam?

It is, but I think they have switched to 12 oz cans.
