Pardon my confusion...my last few cruises (pre-covid) we were Emerald and never remember receiving any gifts/rewards. We will be turning Diamond on our upcoming cruise. Are there any gifts/rewards for turning diamond while on board? Or is it for the next cruise? Thanks

So sorry that your cruise experience was not good. That really sucks. And I agree, they are no longer a deal. It's also disappointing to read your review as we are scheduled to be on Adventure on Sept 1, east coast and Canada. Like you, we have not sailed since covid...2 of our cruises were canceled. We are hitting diamond this cruise so I am really hoping that Royal gets their *hit together for older ships as this is not the first time I have read bad reviews for Adventure. It would be so disappointing to hit Diamond status and change cruise lines.

We do claim our table before hand. What I mean by not sitting together is hubby may order an omelet and I get to the eggs at a different time so it takes longer...timing is off at times. Thanks for the heads up about the warmth of the food. After reading so many comments, I think at this point we will try the MDR, have to have eggs benedict 🙂 And take it from there

Really depends on what is going on on the ship that night. We usually go down around 11:30/midnight but love to get up to watch the sunrise!

We definitely will when we are on those class of ships

In the past we always ate in the Windjammer, especially if the kids were with us. Now that it is just hubby and I, we plan on eating in the MDR. We have found that by the time we each get our order of eggs, fruit, juice...we never seem to sit together. We are trying this on our upcoming cruise 😊 Some ships unfortunately do not have the coastal kitchen. I know Adventure does not.

I did and it states it's my wellness check in. Dumb question but is that the same thing as boarding time? I also am in a suite and got the key...does that allow us to arrive an hour earlier? Thanks so much
