No paperwork needed for 2nd part. Just check with guest services sometime during the first trip to make sure you are on the b2b list.

No, not on board and not at the port. My advice is book the room that you would be happy staying in for the length of the cruise.

I actually was able to get a Sprite Zero on the Magic in August. I wonder how old it was?? 😆
Same, we have been getting some coke zero. Some ships yes, others no dice.

I think it depends on how the passengers are flowing in that day.

Yes, people do it all the time to save some money.

Booked the TA this morning, my rate came in at 3900 for two on a balcony on 10, $400 deposit. I had a lower rate until I signed in.

Is the room air recirculating from only one room, or does it draw air from multiple rooms, hallways, etc. Oh goodness, we might have to keep the stewards out of the hallways and neighboring cabins too!

I'm less afraid of someone being in my room unmasked when i am not there than I am of the inconsiderate people who dont follow the rules in the public areas and elevators.

I'd much rather be in a van with 4 people I don't know than a charter bus with 30.
Carnival still packs the buses.

If the child is booked in a room with an adult, that child cannot check in at the port until the adult does.
Please do not try booking a child with a no show adult, it may work out very badly the day of the cruise.

We like the Twilight Zone (pina colada with Midori and Blue Curacao added). Partner likes the Mocha Chocolate Escape as a dessert drink. Lots of tasty frozen drinks at Red Frog and Blue Iguana. The specialty dining restaurants have good special cocktails if you are in there.
I might be one of the few that doesn't rush to Alchemy. If you haven't tried it though then it's worth checking out, because you might like it.
One thing to also know if you like drinks of just plain whiskey, etc. You can't order a "double" pour with Cheers. The first pour of the drink counts as one whole drink, so you have to wait 5 minutes before they can charge you again for another drink. It's kind of a pain.
That twilight zone is good!

Deal Closer from Achlemy Bar as mentioned above. A chocolate lovers dream.
I don't think that's the name of it, but you will see it. It may be chipotle pineapple... I'm sure I'll get bashed if thatvisnt correct. It is very good though!

Sweet and Sour Shrimp on the first might is always my favorite. But I think it is because I am finally on the ship, all the travel stress is done, the muster drill is done (old way) so I am finally on vacaion and I've had a few drinks.
I have a routine of getting something else the first night but then going to the lido just for a few of those shrimps for dinner #2.

For dessert I like ordering a banana split, which is on the children’s menu and can be ordered any night.
It comes with 1/4 (yes possibly even 1/6) of a banana now... it actually looks like something they would give a child now.

I like the sweet and sour shrimp on the first night, and also their lasagna.
They have 3 different lasagnas, I love the bolognese lasagna!

I will be bringing my CPAP and an extension cord for my first-ever Carnival cruise on the Freedom. I have a standard balcony cabin and was just wondering, how long does the extension cord need to be to go from bed to desk?
Thanks!
A six foot cord is plenty. If you want your choice of sides of bed to sleep on take two.
You can move the little table to beside of your bed to put the CPAP on, or put it on the floor. It may fall off of the little nightstand.
The setup we use is we run the cord to the closet side if the bed for outlet access, then plug in another cord and run it under the bed to the other side for more outlet access.
Have fun!

All I do is check in at guest services at some point during the first cruise and ask them if I am on the list of b2b. Takes only a minute even if they have to add me. No need to worry about it.
B2B question....

They will leave an in transit card in your room on the first trip. Leave the ship in the morning, take that and your sail and sign card from the first trip. That's your ticket to get back on. And yes, you'll have to wait in line and won't be allowed back in until boarding begins.
