If I am sitting in the Promenade area with a beer in my hand watching people walk by, does Carnival enforce sit and cover?

    No.

I too have noticed that there is not an enforcement of the rules. I am on board now, and have been for a number of cruises b2b and there are plenty of reminders but nobody is going around telling people to put their masks on. Yes, they are handing them out as you go into the buffet area, but people walk through the lines without them. Alot of people follow the rules, but many do not.

Same for all other areas, nobody will tell you directly to wear your mask, just signs and announcements.

Its enforced like the chair hog policy, and the no flip flops in dining room policy.

I literally just got off the phone with my pvp as I saw the aft wrap on deck 7 that was next to my L-shape open up.  Snagged it for $300 more - a bargain as I know what they normally go for.  So excited!  My first (and probably last) aft wrap.

You will love it, no comparison to the l shape. You got a great price!

BG, enjoy your FIVE cruises.  If you don't mind, could you spell out the pre-cruise check-in procedure for us as we embark on our first B2B.  I'm assuming I do everything 'normally' for Cruise #1 (72 hr Health Assessment and 16 day Plat. check-in).  How does all that work for Cruise #2 (or in your case #2-#5!)

    TYIA.

Thank you! Please see the pictures I uploaded for you to see the process.

As of now you will. Carnival will give you instructions early in your first leg and it will tell you where and what time to get your test. We had our test on  a Thursday before ending the cruise on a Sunday. Carnival does not charge for the test.

In our case they have been dropping the letter of the 2nd to last day to tell us what time the test will be on the last full day. On for the 3rd leg of 5 right now, on a 8 day cruise that ends Sunday, and we still haven't gotten it.

Dont worry if you don't get it early on your trip, they will find you.

  6. It's been a fun cruise. You know when you book you may not get to go to some ports. You also know during covid you may not get to go anywhere or that your cruise may be cancelled. You gambled and didnt win what you wanted on this cruise. I'm glad you're having luck in the casino. Stay there until you give it all back since the cruise sucks so much.

Thanks, what I'm questioning is whether I dreamt it or there was a thread that discussed changing the requirement for vaccinated to do PCR instead of antigen.  Trying to remember the gist of the thread, there was a link to something (maybe CDC if not Carnival?) about vaccinated cruisers having to do PCR.  Hoping someone else at least remembers the thread, from about a week or so ago?  I tried searching using key words but I'm coming up empty.  I'm not seeing anything about changes on Carnival's covid protocols page.  TIA.

I dont know what you may have read here. I would ONLY get advice as to what the requirements are from Carnivals site itself. It is stated on there pretty clearly still.

  8. We are still having a good time on the freedom. They said we may stop at another port tomorrow or Saturday, but we shall see. So many passengers in the theatre without masks, the pools packed, no wonder people are leaving sick. The cruise line is doing what they can, but it takes cooperation from passengers too to mask up.

  9. Doing a b2b2b right now and we just got word that we wont be stopping at St Martin and San Juan due to both requiring a covid test prior to entering. Not here to argue, those are facts for those that may be interested.  They are replacing St Martin with Antigua, and no word on a replacement for San Juan.
