Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks for the great reviews and enjoying the commentary from a fellow metroplex dweller and Ranger fan. We are right behind you on the NS for the Atlantic crossing leaving on 11/26. Couple of questions: 1. Who did you use for the transport to the pier from Rome? Apologize if you post it, I just am not seeing it and we are still trying to book someone and we want to go with a reliable stagecoach. (Texan talk). 2. You seeing any evidence of them getting ready for drydock? Any talk of maybe installing a halfmoon bar maybe? Can only hope! Thanks in advance for the info and keep the great post coming. You are making the anticipation greater for our whole group! PS The parade was great for the Rangers on Friday, 700K of our closest friends!!!
  2. I was told by a Eurodam Bartender the Weng Weng was named from the sound the ambulance makes when it picks you up after drinking it. WENG WENG WENG 🚑
  3. We love the flowers and here are four arrangements that were in our room on the last trip. The pictures were actually taken on the last day of the cruise. So all were a week old. HAL does an incredible job in the flower department! Also on the last couple of cruises we went on the Florist had a flowering arrangement class that was really neat.
  4. Laundry is free and pretty much unlimited in the Pinnacle and Neptune. We stay in the pinnacle most of the time and have sent laundry in a couple times a day on a occasion with no issues, I have actually received laundry back in a few hours and the clothes were warm from the dryer. Rarely is the clothes not back within a day. Lately we have even got real nice notes even from the laundry staff. It is a nice touch!!! Membership has it’s privileges 😆!!!!
  5. Again, no issue with the opinion and since I had to say it again for you, bless your heart. One Southern to another. 🤭 But back to the OPS question, I would love to hear your favorite dish from the Tamarind.
  6. No issue with any opinion, just wasn’t on topic. Also, thanks for making me laugh with the absurdity, “ If you don’t like it, don’t read it.” I almost wet my trousers. You Floridian are a hoot!
  7. Ruth is spot on. I have asked for a larger portion or maybe two before in all the specialty restaurats, and the staff has always been accommodating.
  8. Ignore? Didn’t know we could do that. Thanks FL Gal, will do! My enjoyment of this site just went way up.
  9. Nothing offensive. Just old, stale, repetitive, and subjective stuff that we have heard from you over and over and over. We understand you don’t like the food. Understand it after your last thousand post about it. WE GET IT! Just would be nice if we could stick to the ops question. In that spirit, I also can’t pass on the scallops. I look forward to them every time I sail.
  10. Well back to the OPS question now that we heard from the “I hate the food” couple, The Tom Kha Kai soup (Thia soup) is one of my favorites. I also really love the duck.
