  1. Yes, that's a closed loop cruise and a passport is not required. It's preferable to have a passport, but sometimes that simply isn't possible.
  2. Magnesium really helps with this. I take it at night before bed and by morning I'm good to go - pun intended. 🙂
  3. I take one bonine the night before my cruise and then each night of the cruise and I've never had problems. I am extremely prone to motion sickness and I've never been sick on a cruise even in rough seas. I like to take it at night because I think it makes me just a bit sleepy for the first several hours after taking it.
  4. I guess it was just a coincidence. I would try to flush repeatedly, nothing would happen, then I would turn on the tap and after a moment there would be a noticeable increase in water pressure in the sink, then I would try flushing again and it would work. As they say, correlation isn't causation.
  5. I don't want to highjack the thread, but this also happened to me on Liberty. I finally figured out if I turned on the tap in the sink and let the water run for a bit, I could get enough pressure in the pipes or whatever to make the toilet flush. I thought I would mention it in case others run into the same problem and maintenance isn't able to quickly fix the problem.
  6. When we got to the bus terminal, we asked and they pointed to a bus. Sorry, I didn't catch the number.
  7. We were there a couple of weeks ago and took the public bus. It was extremely easy. The bus stop is a couple of blocks from the port, at most, and the bus drops you off right at the beach. We waited maybe 10 minutes for the bus back from the beach. I think it was about $5.00 pp round trip. This video shows you exactly how to find the bus and where to get off of it:
  8. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I want my cash right away and not 3 months from now when I'm on board. I wish I knew why it takes forever to get a refund for a cancelled cruise and only a couple of days for cancelled cruise planner purchases, but I'm far more likely to cancel cruise planner purchases than a cruise, so I'm ok with it.
  9. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I don't want OBC because I rarely spend any additional money once I'm on board. I want my cash. 🙂 By the way, I cancelled and rebooked something two weeks ago and I got my refund in a couple of days.
  10. This morning I ordered emed tests for our cruise in August. If the testing requirements goes away prior to August 6, I think all of you can thank me for making what I hope will be an unnecessary purchase.
  11. I also vote for umbrella strollers because they will be easier to maneuver. Depending on how tall you and your wife are, you may want to pick up some umbrella stroller handle extenders. When my kids were little, we often used an umbrella stroller for travel, but my 6'4" husband had to have the handle extenders because it killed his back to push a stroller all day without them.
