New to NCL and have some questions
slavigne5577 replied to slavigne5577's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Thank you all for the information. I called the NCL agent and he was very helpful and gave me a coupon that lowered my deposit. I am officially booked on Getaway and so excited! -

Thank you, I am seriously thinking of putting the deposit down. Is there anything I should know before I make it official. Also was emailed by a NCL agent asking for me to get in touch before making deposit. Are there any advantages to going though agents? -

Coming from Carnival, dress codes are just suggestions. Are there dress up nights on NCL and if so how dressed up? Also, are there refrigerators in all rooms? What's the outlet situation? Do things go on sale before cruise? -

Thank you all. Is there a water package? I have a hold on a cruise and still thinking about it. So I can't login to find prices. But we really really love thermal suites. -
Hello, we have been cruising Carnival for years now and have never had a bad cruise. However NCL sent us an offer that is much better than Carnival is offering same week from New Orleans (we live hour from port). The offer has free drink package and specialty dinning. Getaway is the ship. So here are some questions. 1. Do we have to make reservations for eating all at once on day 1? 2. Is there an included adult only area? 3. I found out Geyaway has thermal suites (we LOVE thermal suites on Carnival Dream), how much are 7 day passes? 4. Do we have to make entertainment reservations for entire trip? Just for reference we have sailed on Carnival's Dream, Elation, Triumph, Glory, and Valor. I know I have more question but that's a good start. Thank you for any and all information.

We have done the table for two and shared table. On our last cruise in Jan. 2023, we had the best time with our table mates and it truly made our cruise even better. Brunch is hit or miss. Maybe people are still sleeping or just have no manners but if you are in a dining room, leave your shoes on and do not put shoes or feet on chairs or table. Just saying!

I priced them both Erato will be $225 and Fulton will be $167. Is the shuttle free or is there a charge? I am worried about getting a spot as it will Mardi Gras weekend. I am also leaving very early because many streets will be closed due to parades. We live an hour away north of the lake. Any advice?

Please explain the whole duck thing. Last cruise, we were sitting in lobby listening to band when someone dropped two ducks down that hit me in the head. -
Thank you for the information. Anyone know anything about the spa? It's nearly half the price that Carnival wants same week but only 7 days, so worth trying. Can we eat in MDR for lunch. When we first got married we went on Sovereign of the Seas, but that seems like forever ago, so we don't know what to expect. We pretty easy going and can make our own fun.

I am OP. It must have been a glitch because it is no longer available in my cruise manager. 😕 -
I write on my paperwork that I will not be buying anything and they do mention it at the end.

Quick review-Carnival Breeze 10/9-14
slavigne5577 replied to Banditswife's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Can anyone compare the spa on Breeze to the spa on Dream. We lived the Dream spa so we are curious about Breeze's spa. -
You could each get a 5 bottle package and spend less than $300 for 10 bottles. (I included %18)That's the quote on non premium plan. Online cost per chespest bottle is $32 plus 18% plus delivery fee. So atleast $380 for 10 online. You can only purchase two individual bottles online pre cruise. If not purchasing the packages

We got ours from MDR Hostess. They were not in our room, so we asked at Dinner and she went and got them for us. They are at the Cherries on Top, now.

I have called funshops before cruise and purchased it. I can see it in drink packages now for our February cruise.

I am so amazed that they know my name. I have to admit that I am so bad at names. Infact I drive 25 miles out of my way to a pharmacy were they call me by my name and remember my birthday.
