    I am currently in E128. Very nice. Roomy and shower only.

    On Aurora now. Green beans still prevalent but last night I had carrots and celeriac!

    On Aurora in Andalsnes today. We waited for the last Intercruises coach as they are contracted to P&O. Unfortunately, Eavesway are not, so we left without them. Doubt Eavesway will compensate their passengers so poor people will probably have to claim on insurance.

    Remember when you got a quite comprehensive paper questionnaire at the end of your cruise. This was replaced with a reasonably comprehensive one online, after your cruise. Now I just get a FEEFO one regarding the ( rare ) excursions I do. Not bothered as I don't believe they take any notice anyway. Just a PR stunt to keep the masses happy.

    Same here. Always do the FEEFO one and hear nothing more!

    Have not received one for any post covid cruise (16 in all). Strange, as I get all their other emails.

    Really liked your reports. I enjoyed all my cruises on Aurora last year. I am joining her again on Tuesday so it will be interesting to see how my experience compares to yours.

    Bit annoying when you pay solo for a double cabin, almost same price as a couple, but only half the obc.

    Stay overnight at a hotel and then you can turn up on time. Recommend Holiday Inn cruise package.

    I was on that one. Think it was overnight in Oslo and doors open all night with minus 11 degrees outside. Freezing everywhere on board. Remember sitting in Piano Bar with a coat on. Surely they could close doors after, say, midnight.

    Really enjoyed your blog. Am joining Aurora next Tuesday for Norway cruise and I might see the Northern Lights this time (third time lucky maybe!) Safe journey home.

    Lifts still being refurbed in January. Am there next week so maybe they will be done by then!

    Solo meet ups are great for those, especially new cruisers, who are looking for company and maybe people to dine with or go ashore together. I have been travelling solo for about 15 years and prefer to do my own thing so have never attended one in 77 cruises. However, I like to share a table when dining and find I meet people just by being sociable.

    Spent the day at the Spice Club last time. Free entry, great music, food and drinks. A couple of Euros by taxi. Ship's tour there cost £40 and they only stayed for a couple of hours! Might try the buggy next time, sounds good.

    Elizabeth House last September was £268 for room only plus 24 nights parking. Not too bad. Holiday Inn cruise package next month with 15 nights parking, breakfast and taxis is £186, so quite reasonable. However, same package in May is £302! Varies widely depending on time of year.

    We have four (yes four) charging units in our main Council car park. They were installed over a year ago and still not hooked up. Surprisingly, not many EVs in this area!

    Praia is lovely. So much better then P del G. Wish they stopped there more.

    Apparently given the all clear to dock now. Probably the dreaded Noro striking again!

    Yes, Holiday Inn cruise package suits me too. Have used it over 50 times. Worth it, as it removes the pre cruise stress I would have travelling on the day, and I get an extra night's holiday.

    I am on her in a couple of weeks to the Arctic, so heating is more important for me! Am also on the May Baltic one, which was unseasonably hot last year! Hope they sort this out.

    Unfortunately, it does happen here quite frequently in our cities.

    Yes, my car was moved to the guest house next door. Have stayed at Holiday Inn with cruise package over 50 times and never had a problem with parking (except during boat show, of course). Very good value.

    Remember walking back to the hotel on St Lucia one night. Asked if we wanted to buy a carved item. It was dark, he had a machete, we did not want one. We bought one!

    Simple. Just turn up about the time on your boarding pass. Same as for restaurant, cinema, theatre, trains, planes, hotel check in, etc. Or expect to have to wait.
