Challenge Coin, ship's patch, and letter I got on the Bliss cruising to Alaska last June 2023. 🙂 I had signed up to get the military discount and would have been satisfied with just that. Was pleasantly surprised when I found this waiting for me in the cabin. They also brought up and took group pics of each Branch's Veterans at the reception. Army had the largest group. Then the Air Force. Then the Marines. Then me and my fellow squids. Go figure. I felt kinda bad for the lone Coastie.😄 Props to Norwegian!

Norwegian Cruise Line cancels 7 months of sailings, refunds passengers (msn.com) Sounds fishy. 🤔 That's alot of revenue to give up unless there weren't that many bookings to begin with. Or, could it be a problem with the boat, and they're using the "repositioning" excuse to get it fixed? 🤷‍♂️

Totally different boat & itinerary, but I can tell on the Bliss to Alaska a couple of weeks ago none of the packages were worth it. I had 150 free minutes with my booking but I barely touched those because everytime I logged on, the connection was dreadfully slow. Even if I used the internet cafe's computers. I can't imagine trying to watch YouTube or TikTok vids on that. What we found more useful was the messaging feature on the My NCL app to communicate with each other on board (location, meet ups, etc.). It is extra ($9.95 per phone) as with every other add-on with Norwegian.

I don't think so. This is the 1st cruise ship I've been on, but my cousin who's a cruise ship regular showed me videos from other ships, and they are all different songs. For the most part these are just ad-libbed renditions the attendants make up themselves. 😁

First time cruiser here (not counting the Navy 😉) of ANY ship. So, I think I'm even below Bronze Level. 🤣 Going to Alaka on the Bliss next week (6/10) in an Oceanview stateroom on the 5th deck, and we got our spiffy, color coded luggage tags sent in the mail to us. 😁

Thanks for the replies. What time would you all suggest getting a ride to the pier? Does the terminal open at a certain time? I had been trying to find the answer myself on the Peir 66 website, but no joy.

First timer as well for Alaska, NCL, or any cruiseliner for that matter. Although I have been on numerous government sponsored cruises (ex-Navy 🤣). I was wondering what is the earliest that you can go in to the Bell Street cruise terminal/Pier 66. I'm not talking about boarding times which I know is a whole other issue. I'm talking about when does Pier 66 open to where they start allowing people in. We get in midnight Friday at SeaTac. So, debating whether we really need a hotel for the night or if we can just hangout for a few hours then get a ride to the pier in the morning. Forgive the totally newbie question. 😄
