My theories about the noise are that they think loud noise generates excitement, and our ship was half full so no bodies to absorb some of the noise. I didn’t notice too much noise in the buffet because I think with the ship not full it was never crazy crowded. perhaps they own stock in hearing aid companies lol so they want us to need them sooner than later 😂

I’ve done both. It’s was very quick boarding on the bellissima in the Mediterranean because they do bring passengers on at each port. Btw, I think that port fees varied by port embarkation so see which port is easy to get to and have lower port fees. I also was on the meraviglia in the Caribbean. I enjoyed both cruises but for a reason I can’t define, the edge goes to the Mediterranean maybe because it was my first cruise!

When I was on the Meraviglia, I stopped by future cruises desk to ask about the Hellesylt/Geiringer stop and was told they will arrive Hellesylt at 9 am to drop off people with excursions and then go to Geiringer arriving at 11 am so hope that helps answer any questions. This was for the sailing August 12 from Kiel

My sister and I just got off the meraviglia and neither of us had the drink package but were sat at a table with people that did have the drink package. It was a table for 8. So they don’t seem to always follow that rule, I guess
