  1. Very interesting. I have a cruise booked for July, 2024. 10 Days on Marina Oslo to London in A2. The price when I booked it was 5599 plus OLife for Bev Package to 5899, less 10% Oceania Cub savings for total of 5309. This was without air. Now the cruise is 5999 without the air with the SimplyMore pricing. Take the 10% Oceania Club savings (which the offer still available) and that takes the cost pp to 5399. So for $90 more we could get the 800 Shore Excursion credit and second device Wi-Fi and the already purchase House Select Drink Package. So……..I guess we will be calling Oceania or email to our rep to make sure I’m seeing it correctly. We typically do a mix of Oceania Excursions and others we arrange on our own.
  2. The sailing does not show. Obviously they are having issue with the system. It states 23 cruises to view on 3 pages…..but when you click to go to pages 2 or 3 it just brings up what was already showing on page 1. Again, so far out no biggie, was just curious but there is plenty of time for the dust to settle and get the website working properly across the board. Just real spotty at this point.
  3. Unfortunately not all cruises are showing. I have a booked cruise in November 2024 and does not even show up…..
  4. I don’t think any comments are directed at someone using this method. The person asking was wanting to know how many reading lights and batteries they should bring. That would seem to be a bit different.
  5. Agree on them changing. But with this change they seem to be aligning their pricing and inclusives to the more luxury liners and I don’t think any of them refer to the included items as free. And yes on the wine issue, someone above pointed that out. Thanks.
  6. I’m not sure I’d go with anything I see on the website right now. We have 2 booked cruises in 2024. One does not even appear in the search. The other one for an A2 right now looks like 350 more. Who really knows at this point.
  7. Thanks, there I see it buried deep in T&C link. I see it just refers to the House Select program. Again, some of us have cruised Oceania before and understand what that means, how about just be specific and state during lunch and dinner there?? Doesn’t impact me as I know, but to not even make that point until the terms….it’s FREE!!! Tell everyone where you are talking about the FREE items. Just my very humble opinion. And yes I will most likely continue cruising with Oceania.
  8. I have to say it appears a rather clumsy rollout with regard to the website. 1). Stop with the FREE, just say INCLUDED. 2). From all we have heard the drink package is only for lunch and dinner. The website does not mention that part anywhere. I’ve looked several places where that could be clarified and can’t see it anywhere that they speak of the wine, etc. Whereas we may be aware of that based upon notes from the TA…many would not have a clue. Seems very deceitful, UNLESS I have missed the further explanation somewhere else on their website. If so, would appreciate if someone could point it out.
  9. Not to mention how much is hefty?? Probably means something different to everyone. But leaves it wide open to say I told you so!
  10. Sounds like the drive up the mountain in Kotor! I reached a point I couldn’t look out the window. But then again, I am a bit afraid of heights.
  11. Hmmmmm…..someone else noted the influencer would never admit to it!! Does an unsolicited denial equal influencer. 🤔
  12. Seems like that would be the easiest way for them to handle.
  13. Sadly, probably many will be hitting the site at midnight in hopes of being the first to throw a “told you “ out there!
  14. Or consequences?? Like anything, there will be pushback perhaps. Just as those who voice the positive face pushback as being cheerleaders. It goes both ways! Perhaps those that usually post more positive things are just more positive in everyday life and therefore don’t let the negative ones bring them down. Just my personal observation and opinion. Carry on.
  15. From what I can tell, I do not see that you have NOT been allowed to express your bad experiences.
  16. Much more fun being a victim! Let’s face it, some people are NEVER happy. Seems a few of them lurk around on CC.
  17. Agree! No napping on arrival day. We made that mistake on our first visit to Europe several years ago as I am unable to sleep on a plane. Never again!! Now we try to book a food tour late afternoon on arrival day. Takes care of the meal, keeps you awake and have found lots of fun and interesting people on the food tours.
  18. Yes, go on their website and click on the Grand Dining Room on one of the ships. Then click on the wine tab.
  19. The wine serving as you noted above is what we experienced on our recent cruise. Really never had too much of a problem at all. In fact sometimes they were topping it off quite frequently!! The worst was typical in Terrace Cafe I’d say but even then not all the time. I’d say out of our approximately 24 meals on the cruise perhaps an issue maybe twice. Certainly nothing to get upset about and much better than restaurants these days.
  20. I have to say you sure do seem to have an inordinate amount of bad luck.
  21. Yeah, I’ve noticed people like to complain a lot on here. Oh well, I guess that is what this internet thing was invented for…
  22. Not sure if the same hours on all ships. But on our recent cruise on Vista they all opened at 6:30, specialty, Grand Dining Room and Terrace Cafe. Welcome to Oceania!
  23. No selection of non alcoholic drinks as those are all included anytime. Tea, soft drinks, all types of coffee, sparkling or still water. Once in your stateroom let your steward know your favorites and they will make sure your fridge is always supplied.
