They were requesting when a different category than what they have booked can reserve, so the information would not be on their reservation.
-
Yeah, no doubt not top end, but hey, it’s free and may be a nice overall experience! Thanks again.

Thanks for this information, much appreciated!

Quick question on the AMEX wine tasting….did you receive an invitation in your stateroom to the event. We have this perk on our next cruise and was not sure how it worked for the wine tasting. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Honestly, I’ve never used them so haven’t paid much attention to that aspect. Usually I’ve seen most use to fill up their bottles for taking off ship. Seems like they are quite tall for dispensing into bottles so really would not be a need for people touching other than the button. I’m sure someone that has used them can provide more information. I always just use the bottles provided in the room to fill up my travel bottle.

Yes, there are stations throughout the ship, including terrace cafe.

Exactly how we handle it. -
Just saw a press release where Oceania announced that Starlink installation has been completed on all ships.

Or this is their new strategy, bring it somewhat back on a sale on a limited number of cruises.

Getting ready for my first O cruise. I'm worried about storage space.

Yes. We did this in November. Actually also brought on a bottle of scotch purchased in a port.

And I say this as in post 49 I believe it was the poster stated they were in a PH on Marina and did not receive the letter.
-
Who knows, perhaps in the long run, it could be a way to differentiate between the prices charged for a suite vs a non suite. Keep 2 housekeeping visits per day in PH and above but not in other staterooms??
-
Again, I read no where in the letter that ‘turn down’ service is being eliminated. It states there will be one primary service by housekeeping, unless you desire the second. On my cruises there has been the primary housekeeping in the morning. Typically around dinner time they would knock on the door and see if anything else is needed such as towels, etc. and then late evening there would be the actual turn down service which includes the closing of draperies, providing Currents and the beloved chocolate. Even on the O website under stateroom amenities it specifically states 2 daily housekeeping AND under a separate amenity the indication of chocolate included with the nightly turn down service.

If selecting Marina, personally I’d pick the first one that goes to both Tallinn and Riga. We loved both cities. The second one does not do Riga and goes to Klaipeda which was pretty meh….we were lucky enough to go where we spent 2 nights in St. Petersburg…really don’t know at all about the other cities on Insignia.

Our service was subperb on Marina recently.
-
The person who started the thread and shared the letter is on Marina.

Again…..has anyone not had turn down service on the ship the letter was done? Even the original poster came back and said they had received turn down service. The letter to me was about the second daily maid service. Has anyone at this point not had turn down (dimming of lights, closing of curtains, dropping off the currents and the beloved chocolate??)

There are cruises in the Baltic for Marina and Vista.

Possible to change to less expensive cabin after deposit?

Assuming they mean per stateroom, so 1450 x 2 = $2900. -
I believe Virgin Voyages.

Rail travel in Italy is always an adventure it seems.

We were on Sirena in February and there were lines if you arrived around 7:30-7:45. Since the barista/bar is at the entrance the host took our name and asked us to have a seat in the bar area. I think we may have waited 10 minutes at the most anytime and since we were seated it was no big deal.
