I used to get very sea sick I use sea bands, have always worked for me I put them on before I get on the ship Then I drink only ginger ale with bitters the first day and eat green apples Works like a charm.. The ginger and bitters was told to me years ago by a crew bartender. After meno pause I no longer get it though unless very rocky but I come prepared. I dont take the meds they all made me sick or dizzy worse than the sea sickness and the patches made me hallucinate. Once got land sick after many sea days now that was fun lol

Cunard will give you all you want great lectures, shows, activities. The lectures will be both port selective as well as other topics. at least 2 per day. QM2 even has a planetarium with several shows. The others ships have things to do as well. I love HAL but often do Cunard for transatlantic now. Ships are elegant. They do dress up more at night but you can always just go to their buffet which is good. My MOM loved it .

Im going for the scenery LOl and to be on a dam ship. Half the time I dont even get off ships any more, Been everywhere a cruise ship goes already... This one offers some new scenery and I love Victoria. Going on The Oct 2025 one, needed something to do anyway

I just go to the dining rm whenever I want and ask to share a table. Get to meet a lot of people that way. as far as the speciality restaurants go I just eat in there alone but there are often people around you to strike up a conversation with them Or wait until you meet others and arrange to go with them.

Loved Crystal as well But then I was travelling with my mother. and she had big bucks lol Did our first WC on the symphony what an adventure and then on the Harmony many times. Cant afford those now. still playing the lottery as well though One can only dream

as a solo traveler Oceania and Azamara are out of my budget if I want to go on more than one cruise a year. so I stay with HAL and an occasional Princess . . I do like smaller ships though not into all the flashy stuff, want amore refined cruise. I do use Cunard quite a bit as well if i want to go to Europe I take the QM2 over or back

I agree the Prisendam was my favorite was on all of those at one time or another. Much more intimate and you got know the crew and cruisers very well

good to know my old ones are getting holes in them lol wear them in the garden all the time
