  1. I was working on booking my specialty dining for our upcoming cruise, and noticed that the sushi bar/pinnacle lounge doesn't offer reservations for this restaurant. Do we even have to use a specialty dining "ticket" for this restaurant? Does anyone know how it is? Are we just allowed to come to this bar to drink?
  2. I have the specialty dining pass that comes with FAS, and purchased two more. Is there anything special I need to do reservation wise?
  3. I am getting close to reserving dining for my cruise. Does anyone know what time it opens up? It says I can reserve it on the 23rd. Should I stay up overnight on the 22nd? I live in EST if that helps.
  4. Of the two restaurants on Pinel island, which one is better to make a reservation with? That is, if I reserve a chair for yhe day, which one would you all recommend? Os there really any difference?
  5. The only reason I am limited to departure ports, is that traveling in a car with my elderly mom that far may be a challenge. So a 3 ish hour trip is about all she could handle.
  6. Does anyone know where I could find the best price on a Baltimore or Norfolk departure that is coming up in the next few months? It doesn't have to be long, but would like to keep the price under 150 PPPD
  7. There are two types of people in this world. Those who pee in pools, and those who are liars.
  8. Where are all of these distillers?
  9. What was the charge to use the Sauna/steam room? Thank you for the info.
  10. Maybe adding travel time from Port would be a nice addition as well
  11. This is much appreciated! We are trying to figure the beat beach or two to shoot for our short time there at Port.
  12. Thank yoi - we are looking for a distillery to bring some rum home, but also tour as well.
  13. Does anyone have suggestions for easy to get to rum house when we are at Port in San Juan for the day? The only ones I have found are thr Scryer rum house, and Ron Del Barillito.
  14. Does anyone know which games are in the arcade on the Sky? I see that they have a picture of Guitar Hero 3, which is really great, but I want to be sure its on there before I pay for the pass!
  15. I have never been. But the three waterfalls hike seemed like a clear winner in this town.
  16. We are buying suit cases this week for our interior cabin room on the Sky, and want to be sure we don't get anything too big. Has anyone ever had issues with getting their suitcase under the bed on the sky?
  17. Ok, thank you for the info. We are leaving 3 hours to get to our hotel parking (which shouldn't hit traffic on the way in), which leaves at the top of the hour. Worst case, if we arrive a few minutes after 3, we can just uber over the 6 minute drive. That will leave us just under 3 hours prior to boarding to arrive at the airport.
  18. We will be flying from Dulles to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on a Tuesday evening at 5:45. I was just wondering when I should plan to arrive at my parking spot. According to google, it is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive to the hotel where we reserved parking, and the shuttle ride should take ten minutes. Would leaving at noon provide us enough time to get to the parking, shuttle over, and check in on the flight? We would be driving up 81 and over into Dulles.
  19. With my cruise that I booked this summer, booking through NCL was only another $100 or so, from the several places I called around to. It started getting exhausting having them call me continually to try to get me to book, so I just booked with NCL directly. My cruise consultant has been spectacular so far.
  20. Does anyone know what time 120 days before embarkation it opens up? Is it exactly 120 days (i.e. 5:30 Pm 120 days before for 5:30 departure), or is it midnight that day?
  21. Thank you all.this is very good news. So the only advantage to missing out on a few hours of Miami time, would be the "free" meals and booze I get?
  22. How early can I book them? The cruise is late summer
  23. I was wondering what time I should arrive at the cruise port in Miami for my cruise on the Sky this summer. The departure time is 5:30. My only real concern with arriving early would be to make sure we can make our dining reservations for the 3 meals we have paid for. It is a 9 day cruise, so we want to be sure we can use those reservations on certain days when we aren't too beat. Should be plan to arrive at Port before noon, or do you think if we arrive at 2 or so, that we will be able to make specialty dining reservations for the days we want?
  24. I absolutely love this thread. I cannot tell the difference between the trolling, and straight Karen-ism. Either this is a horrifically toxic place, or some of you all are hilarious.
  25. Well, you do have to takes the taxes and port fees, and the dsc as well. That advertised price included the drink package, which you don't have to take the forced gratuity on... but they advertise the drink package as included. However, there was a forced $400 charge to us.
