Hi, we're considering Beyond next July, 8nt Caribbean. We've mostly cruised Royal. The ship looks beautiful and is more what we're looking for in style/design. We are drinkers so I would like to know how the bar service is in general on the ship. Also, service in the restaurants and specialty dining. We don't do the shows and we've been to all but one of these islands so it's important to us that the service and food are very good on this ship as we will mostly be at the pool, bars, restaurants for all 8 days. Also, I can't seem to find menus anywhere for this ship. Is it more beneficial to book the drink package with the cabin or is the price the same if we book it later? We're going to upgrade to the premium drink package regardless. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Charla, I just found this review as I am considering Beyond in June and we've never been on Celebrity. How was the bar service on the ship? Was it attentive and easy to get a drink? Love your review. Long time Royal cruisers and our recent NCL was good, but no WOW factor. Want something more elevated. Thanks in advance.

We upgraded as well. The Veuve had been phased out this year. I was referring to the barely drinkable coffee in the MDR. Package was well worth our money.

What if Greg wanted to order a bottle of wine at dinner? Will they possibly deny that?

How is the coffee on the ship? I thought NCL's was bordering on undrinkable.

Sometimes, no. We don't do shows. So it's food/drinks/pool/drinks/nap/food/drinks for us. And if it's an island we've been to before it's pool/drinks.

I remember Royal having different shapes of hash browns everyday in the buffet and we couldn't wait to see what they were each morning. Unfortunately, I was much older than 12 years old for this to be that exciting. My husband didn't care for the white gravy in the buffet either.
