click on this link; under videos select Oasis experience; click on the video titled; "unique views from boardwalk and central park" this will tell you about the boardwalk cabins. I am in 9723 which is across the ship from where you're looking at. I asked questions about this cabin; people who have stayed in them said you can sit on balcony and watch aqua show, big screen tv's, and the zip line; when you close balcony door it is quiet; you must keep curtain closed; because people across from you can see in.

  2. I used Romeinlimo last year; used them in both Rome and Pisa/Florence. We had a large group. Romeinlimo far exceeded our expectations; and far exceeded what the cruise line could come up with. They will make your time in each city count. What we liked about them was how they would stop for atm machines, bathroom breaks, lunch, etc. They were there to make sure u got your money's worth in the city. If u have any questions I would be glad to answer them.

  3. I want to thank everyone who posted pics and comments on this thread. I can only afford to cruise every two years; so in between cruises I like to be on the chat boards and interact and see what everyone is doing. I get so much valuable information from these boards, that when I do cruise, I feel like I have a wealth of knowledge; so again, thanks to everyone, especially Radio, you have provided wonderful insight into this Bermuda cruise; your pictures and comments are great, and I have visited your website and looked at Freedom, which I will be sailing on next year.

    Cheers

  4. Let me jump into this forum and post a few tips. :):):):):). These faces are for Romeinlimo and the service they provide. They provided my group of 15 with wonderful service. We used them in both Rome and Pisa/Florence last year on Voyager of the Seas. In Rome they purchased advance tickets to the colisium/private tour of Vatican, so in both of these places we had no wait at all. The minivans are new; stocked with bottled water; very knowledgeable drivers, and get you right up front of museums so you don't have far to walk. In Florence/Pisa there is so much to see I would not recommend trying to see two museums; not enough time; there is so much to see in these two cities; My group had people who had never been overseas before; and the gudies made them feel like royality. We reserved everything via email with Jany and Duman, and I paid them in Euros when we got to both ports; they will take u to an atm machine to change money; or you can get it on the ship. If you have any questions regarding using this company or what places to see in Rome/Pisa/ or Florence let me know.

    Cheers

  5. Why not spend an extra day in Venice sightseeing and fly out the following day. That's what I did in 07. First off let me give u some tips. The airport will be total zoo on arrival day. U won't be the only ship in port and most people who live in Europe will be flying home. That being said, u can be one of the last off ship; take your time eat breakfast, then head to airport. I almost bet it will take u at least two hours to get thru security, ticket, etc, so when u really look at it; if u leave the ship at 0900 or 0930, take 30 min taxi to airport, fight the crowds, u will only have a few hour wait. It's up to you but think about it.

  6. I did a cruise from Venice in 2007. our itinerary was:

    Venice

    Dubrovnik

    Ephesus

    Santorini

    Cofu

In Venice just walking along the Grand Canal and going to St. Marks Square is nice. Lot of picture taking opportunities. The Academy of Art is also a nice place to visit in Venice, and the Gelato Stands

In Dubrovnik, go to the walled city. The ship most likely will provide buses to the walled city. In Corfu we visited the Achilleon Palace and a Greek Monestary. The palace was ok, but the monestary was neat. the city is about a 15 min walk from the cruise terminal. Again, the ships provide shuttle buses to downtown Corfu. Hope this helps

  7. Royal Caribbean has a promenade deck outside that goes around the entire ship. On both sides and fwd and aft there are lounge chairs for relaxing. Also on Voyager and Freedom class ships there is an inside Promenade, which is over two hundred feet long. There are shops, bars, food, etc. There are chairs where you can sit and just people watch. At night the indoor promenade lights up with parades and other type activities.

    cheers
