I would go down to medical off and ask to see the paperwork they filled out for your husband. Take a picture of the paperwork with your phone. That will give you piece of mind and you now have a copy of the report. Good luck and so sorry to hear about this

Could you get drinks (tea, coffee etc) when there was no staff like on other ships?
if you are in a full suite there should be a letter in stateroom telling you what the concierge lounge hours are and what the staff hours are.

I think Sun Princess has a restaurant just for signature collection suite guests; so maybe you could try that for lunch

Thanks for info. It helps. We are maybe one coffee a day and maybe one glass of wine a day. We don’t do the casual dining nor specialty desserts. We try to eat meals like we do at home.
Are you saying you do room service only like you are at home?

Thank you for your review. Glad you had a nice time on Sun Princess

Thank you! My OBC is coming directly from princess. Follow up question - will I be locked into the excursion? Or can I cancel? I've been on one other cruise (Holland), and they had a 48 hour cancellation option.
I believe Princess has 24 cancel policy

Not yet. Top deck family zone will be on the new Sun Princess sailing in 2024.
Thanks for update. cheers

Princess is a nice cruiseline. If you have sailed carnival with the water slides and such; you won't find that on Princess. Princess is fun, food is good, service and crew are nice, and it's more relaxed.

Great choice. Sky Princess has more to offer than Emerald. Been on both and I like them both; but the choices are better on SKY

Hi
quick question, my last waiter was not really good. I saw him taking order for eggs at the MDR. Does it means that he is in training now?
quite possible they have him re-training

Thank you very much for your answers 🙂 I'm getting conflicting answers about lots of things, but I can have one ideas what to expect.
For instance aboard Royal caribbean we can have lemonade and ice tea during all meals, but i was reading that we can't ask it at MDR in Celebrity, except for breakfast. Can anyone clarify?
Thank you
I have ice tea at both lunch and dinner in dining rooms. No problem

Well I’m on my way home in my crappy middle seat I have to say I didn’t realize how much I needed that cruise. My husband passed away suddenly this year and it left me reeling. I find myself a young 57 yo widow. I never thought my life would turn out like this. This cruise gave me the peace that I was missing
The ship was wonderful. The service was great and most of the food was excellent I look forward to hopefully do it again next year
Sorry to hear about your husband passing. You really needed this cruise for the reasons you mentioned. All the best and prayers for a safe trip home

Is this the pre launch with travel agents and such?
-
Smellytoes; looks like JetBlue changed the size of your aircraft; maybe they had more people wanting to fly so they added the aircraft with a few more seats. Middle Seats are not nice
-
such a bummer to have this happen on your cruise. All the best with getting your dental work taken care of.

Do those serving in the MDR make more than the servers in the buffet? The MDR server position seems to be more coveted than the room attendant or buffet server jobs.
I do not have an answer to that question; all I know if one of our waiters was not doing a good job and next thing I know he was working in buffet and we were assigned another waiter in dining room

After another beautiful day in Aruba I saw a show with 3 Motown singers. These guys were great! Then dinner in the mdr. I had corn fritters and some beef dish and neither one was on the menu. Again the food and service was excellent
Are you saying the menu on the app does not have all the items which are listed on paper menu in dining room? Cheers

I could have done that but by the time I realized zed my food wasn’t coming I was exhausted so we left. That wasn’t the waiters fault. He did come up to us last night and profusely apologized. I reassured him that it wasn’t his fault that I was too tired to hang around. He really is a sweet kid doing the best he can
If you report a waiter for underperforming they send them to the buffet; and they work there until they get better at their job

Eden was very good and the scenery of the ocean is nice

Have a fun time on your cruise. All the best
