Happy New Year everyone and hopefully we're all looking at an enjoyable cruise-filled 2022.
Had the following video sent to me by some Australian friends - where it's already 2022.
AULD LANG SYNE by Sissel - YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com)
Cheers,

Good afternoon.
Thank you for today's daily Rich and Roy for the lists.
Interesting days.
Bacon is nice on our full English breakfasts.
With Covid19 we have had to make a lot of last minute changes.
Nice food and wine of the day.
We have been to St Peter Port many times.
It is a tender port.
Prayers for everyone on the care list.
Take care.
Graham.
Ghaham I hope this is not a dumb. Have you tried a full Irish
breakfast. I was raised on them. I do not think I could manage
that today.
Jim.

Yes, exactly the same thing a few years ago. We stopped using a TA all together. I now go directly to the cruise line to book. We don’t use a PCC, and the cruise line’s 800 number has worked well for help on demand. We use cruise air some, and sometimes book directly with the airline.
I know that by not using a TA, we may miss out on some OBC or other perks, but those aren’t enough to offset the convenience of managing our own bookings at our own convenience.
I cant get HAL to have my pcc contact me because the keep telling
me my phone number is invalid its the same number I have used
with HAL FOR 35 YEARS I WAS TOLD TO EMAIL the mariner
soity, does anyone know where to find the EMAIL

One minute you can’t log in, next you can’t post, then you can’t like a post. From Safari to Chrome back then back! Erase all history! Try again! 😩
All I want for Christmas is a smooth working web site!🎄😷
I hate to have to say this but this is total incompent ITs at hal and there is no excuse for it. That is my personel take.

Good morning! I'm never at the computer in the morning, but while there, today, I decided to check the Daily on the big screen. I have been reading every day, but not posting for not being able to do so on my phone. I have been able to post on Roll Calls, on the computer, so I'll see if this works, today.
We are planning to be onboard Rotterdam VII from Jan. 9th - 29th, a 14 day and 6 day back to back. There have been several itinerary changes, so the Ship is becoming the main itinerary, which is fine by me. Thanks to Rich and Roy for the Daily, and to all who post each day. I hope this time I can get onboard again.
Enjoy your cruise and relax.
Jim.

Good morning, all! Chocolate Covered Anything is a great day! I may celebrate it by dipping some of the candied orange peel I made in chocolate. Reconciliation Day and The Boston Tea Party are both important.
I won’t be having tilapia tonight, because it’s my birthday and DH is taking me out for dinner. No idea what lol order, but I promise you it won’t be tilapia!
Remember back when the The Beatles first sang ‘When I’m 64’? At that time, 64 seemed so old and impossibly far away. Suddenly, 64:is here, but being old still seems far away! LOL
Sending continued strength and prayers for @kazu Jacqui, Jose, and Jose’s medical team; @HimselfFather with COVID, @rafinmdRoy and his treatment, and all else in our Dailyite family needing extra strength right now.
We have not been to today’s port, but look forward to pictures!
Happy Thursday, everyone. I wish tonight’s celebration was in the Pinnacle Grill of a BHB!
Have a very Happy Birthday and enjoy your Dinner.

Good morning to our Daily Family.
I had a long conversation with @kazu last night and she has agreed to let me post on her behalf today. She is so grateful for the outpouring of love, care, and prayers that everyone has expressed for her and Jose, and asks for continued prayers.
For the next little while she will not be posting on our Daily, as she will be spending her time at the hospital, focusing on Jose and his medical needs. I know she will not have the energy to provide updates on a regular basis, but I can assure you I will certainly post something when I hear from her.
I ask that you continue to keep Jacqui, Jose, and the medical specialists working for them in your prayers as we go through our days ahead.
Thank you,
Gerry
They both have all of my prayers and have prayed for the Doctors
to find the cure.

Hi everyone! DH and I arrived in Cincinnati a little delayed due to mechanical issues but safe and sound. Shortly thereafter our DGD Ashley arrived at the airport to pick us up. At about that time we got a message from DH's sister from St. Louis. She was rushing over to the nursing home because she got an urgent message that the end was near for DMIL. When they arrived moments later she had just taken her last breath. So DMIL passed away at around 11 am eastern time. It's hard even though expected. 🙏
Now trying to figure out the date for a funeral service and burial with our kids and grandkids and have come up with next Saturday. But DH's sister is not happy since she wants to go to Disney in Orlando for two weeks leaving tomorrow morning. Looks like she will be coming back home to St. Louis halfway through her vacation. She has no children so no worries there. But I'd say your own Mother's funeral is pretty important! Sorry for the inconvenience, Sis. Sheesh!
Hoping for better news today from Jacqui. 🙏
Prayers winging to all of your loved ones and you.
Jim.

Good morning, everyone.
It looks like it will be a gloomy day here with rain and falling temperatures.
Please include my cousin and her family in your prayers. She had an automobile accident on Saturday and her 10 year old grandson was killed. From what I can piece together it looks like she was probably at fault for the accident. That is a hard burden to bear and she has been very fragile where mental health is concerned for most of her life.
Today's meal is a good way to use up that leftover turkey in the freezer. There are many different varieties of turkey casserole, so just choose one that suites your preferences. This one can be made in advance and then frozen until you're ready to eat it. https://dinnerthendessert.com/leftover-turkey-casserole/
This one is a creamy casserole. You can add in any vegetables you like or take out the ones you don't like. Is the turkey all gone? You can substitute chicken or even sliced smoked sausage. https://www.spendwithpennies.com/creamy-turkey-casserole/
And who can resist Aunt Bee's recipe? https://www.theseasonedmom.com/aunt-bees-leftover-turkey-casserole/
Wishing you all a wonderful day.
Prayers being sent. So heart breaking.

Good morning everyone! Thanks for the welcome to this group.
I love bagpipes - once a year our presbyterian church has a heritage service with bagpipes that was just a couple of weeks ago. The group is from Dunedin which is a bit north of St. Petersburg- where the Toronto blue jays have spring training.
I would like to welcome to the our group.
