    One of the bloggers claim Carnival Luminosa is doing 3 charters October and November 2024 from Sydney. Does anyone know if these are the ones the current Royal Caribbean music charters?

    It will be interesting to see if Royal make some sort of announcement this week about the future cruise deployment from Australia 24/25. Princess 24/25 is apparently going on sale later in the week.

    Never been on Diamond. If she goes into dry dock it will be interesting to see if this stays. I have used many bathhouses and onsens in Japan over my 7 visits.

    About a month ago the repositioning to and from Singapore for Carnival Splendor went on sale July to September 2024. Sydney Ports hasn’t edited the bookings yet. I wonder how accurate Sydney Ports is in keeping us up to date.

    Chilli that could be Ovation. Royal, Princess Crown Princess and Diamond Princess feature a few times in Sydney 24/25.

    I noticed this morning Sydney Ports does a few days at random vacant at Circular Quay for possibly another ship. (But not many)

    Australia week of 1 May. Who knows where Utopia fits into this equation.

    It’s to stop each person bringing on 2 bottles of wine. 1 per person is easier to police.

    It may not be released. Royal are running more ships to and from dry dock non revenue. The Navigator one has me the most annoyed.

    Royal wants to dock Oasis Class here. Hopefully they can dock here in most conditions. I saw some videos of Lelepa a few weeks ago and it looks spectacular. Royal will be out to make big money here.

    I am into technical stuff. But I thought Voyager Class could dock in Cairns. Pre Covid Ports North told me that they were going to increase gradually the size of ships allowed to dock in Cairns. To see how the size of vessels went docking. For Royal that would have been Radiance first then at a later date Voyager Class.

    If you put Anthem in Auckland you would have to depart the freight terminal. 2 ships in Sydney Ovation to NZ. Anthem South Pacific’s. Quantum from Brisbane to mainly South Pacific.

    Chilli what about 2 ships with massive new water slides working to Lelepa freshly out of refit. Quantum and Anthem.

    Anthem turns ten early 2025. So she would be due for one before Northern Summer 2025.

    I would assume Anthem would go to dry dock in Cadiz before leaving Europe if not returning for Summer 25.

    I bought Virgin last night Brisbane to Cairns $125 each way including luggage. Flying a day before and a day after the cruise. The arrival day back into Cairns was more expensive.

    Explorer never went to Singapore dry dock. It was dry docked in Cadiz prior to doing a Southampton season. Then Explorer repositioned Southampton to Sydney. Singapore was only a day visit in both directions.

    Very possible if China still have the money investment in Wonder.

    It’s like Oz is waiting to see if China cruises will go ahead or not.

    Interesting to see the 2026 calendar is on the booking menu on iPhone. Does this mean another world cruise?

    We had a look today at doing a Spectrum cruise from Singapore mid year and the prices are thru the roof. Penang and Phuket are.our preferred ports Also looking at Solomon Islands & PNG on P&O from Cairns.
