I have the books for EDGE and BEYOND. Just as I was organizing an art crawl for our Roll Call on our first EDGE CRUISE..Celebrity came out with its tour. It was a great tour and we loved it..alot less work for me! Can't wait to add ASCENT and APEX .....

On our Retreat cruise on BEYOND, we found this pool area crowded. Some folks staked out their spot intp the pool or on the over water seats and did not budge..hard to get in for a quick dip! On the day we did not go to port, we got up there early and had a great time..After lunch it filled up fast so we re-located.. We are mostly Solarium users, but also enjoyed the outdoor pool on BEYOND....we went early..quite alot of space to swim. We hope to book a poolside cabana on Ascent..they allegedly will face the sea????? And to those reading...If this is not true pls do not jump all over me! Verify on your own..

So wonderful! I too love the art on board X ships. So happy we booked APEX,after following this review, so I will be able to see all this great art.

sorry for bumpy flight..glad u made it okay Great review! .Happy u got credit for the upgraded internet that was low grade at best. and good news misplaced card and snatched phone were found..gave us all some drama to speculate about! overall how did you like Celebrity?

Now students use A-I to ghost write term papers! Kind of defeats the concept of education/ learning!

the whole 17th St area has so many dining and drinking options..close to port. we enjoy staying there. we are priced out of there for our next cruise and will try Dania..got something for under $300..and that was a bit of luck! hotel prices are insane!

why is the internet so bad on this ship?

hope you get a full credit and find a way to let someone up the chain of command know about the bad conditions of this tour and /or dock area and the blase ' attitude of shore excursion dept..etc something better is expected from Celebrity..

We have never taken the ferry over to Cancun....we heard the waters going across can be rough on the tummy! We were recently on Cozumel on our BEYOND cruise. . We .did some jewelry shopping..into Blue star sapphires this time. Also tee shirts for grands and our first time ever at Senor Frogs..Not our usual style but we got into the party mode and had a nice lunch. Food was excellent and drinks were " grande".

Photos are "very Mexico" very colorful.. but I'm confused Was Cancun your port or did u take a ferry from Cozumel? ( saw the Cozumel pic)

once she re contacts suggest you tell her to complain about the internet issues at IT area, esp if she paid for it or to upgrade. they will lkkely give her an adjustment.. glad they are okay and on the ship!

i once dropped my sea pass card in Cozumel on the walkway ( over water) between the Mexican check point and the ship entry. Luckily I realized it was no longer in my hand & we scoured every inch of walkway..we had passed. Luckily dh spotted it ..but it was tense moment or two! I am confident it worked out..she is a very experienced cruiser!

folks.... when looking at SVs on my phone, the deck plan I saw for deck 9 did not have the symbol usually shown for an IV so I asked if it was reg balc and I was told YES by a Cert Vac Planner... It appears she was wrong . I repeated that info of what she offered She gave 3 sep cabins one on 9 and 2 on 8, which she said were balconies based upon her info.. As to these cabins, she gave obstruction percentages and pricing. I would have been quite annoyed if we had booked on of those based on her info. luckily we did not... .. It appears she was wrong Can you now please give it a rest my friends!

yup..we are booked into an SV at a fair price...nice quiet area back there and great aft views of sea and sky..long walk to elevs but good to burn off calories.. I did not scrutinize any photos.. we do not book that way.. but we def would not enjoy a porthole anything. I was passing along what I was told. by the rep.

I am not here to debate or defend anyone.. she was reading from her APEX deck plans and info she had as an X rep..sometimes it is wrong. . I spotted it on a posted APEX deck plan near the SVs ..it did not show the symbol used for the IV so I asked about it.. we are booked and happy...others can investigate themselves...

thanks for posting..no longer in the dailies. hard to locate and difficilt to get in print!
