How do the parents get "called"? A pager?
Does anybody have a copy of the "Fun Times" for Camp Carnival? My kids will be 7, 8, and 10 years old.
Thanks! :D

OK, thanks. Sorry for the dumb question! We don't really eat out in regular restaurants on land, so I don't know how it works. Glad to hear this. Thanks!! :D

Kids are allowed to order off of the main dining room menu, aren't they? My kids will be 7, 8, and 10 years old when we cruise this Fall. They are pretty adventurous eaters and would love to try some new things. I was just assuming they wouldn't have to order the standard "nuggets/hotdog/pizza/fries".

Oh please say it isn't so! :( I was really looking forward to trying out the Serenity area. I love to just sit and read. I read in another review that there is music there?? Does anybody know if this is true for the Miracle?
Thanks

Does anybody have the menu for a 7 day cruise (for November 2014)? Thanks! :)
Can kids (ages 7, 8, 10) order off of the regular adult menu in the main dining room?

I was told when I made our reservation that we can sign our kids up for Camp Carnival online now. (6 months from our cruise). How does that work?? We don't just bring them the morning that we want them to stay? We have to make reservations?

Does anybody have a copy of the fun times for Camp Carnival? 7 day cruise? We're sailing on Miracle, Mexican Riveria. I'm just trying to give my kids an idea of what kind of activities they're going to have. Thanks!! :)

Anyhow, I feel like they open at 10am. They close for lunch from about noon to 2:00. Then they "close" for dinner at 4:45ish? Idk, maybe it was 5:45. They really just set up for dinner in the buffet area.
That's really disappointing. Honestly, I didn't even know until recently that CC closes during the day. Kinda defeats the purpose of letting parent "relax" on the cruise. I don't want to just dump my kids off at CC for 7 days, but on the other hand... one of the nice things about a cruise is not having to really work about the time and having to be somewhere "on time". Food is available all day long, as are things to do. I just don't want to have to stress about looking at my watch all day and not be late to pick up the kids.

We're going to book the 7 day Mexican Riviera on the Miracle.
This will be our first time cruising with the kids. I'm researching Camp Carnival now. :)
~What time does it open?
~Close for lunch?
~Close for dinner?
How do the times change on port days compared to sea days?
thanks. :)

I just thread that Carnival is going to be sailing year-around to the Mexican Riviera, starting in 2015.
Does anybody have more info on this? What ship? Where is it out of? Some of the itineraries will include Mazatlan. Anybody know where else?
Thanks :)

I keep hearing how Disney doesn't charge for a lot of the little things that other cruise lines do. Anybody know what kind off things?? I've only ever been on Carnival.
Thanks :)

We will be booking two cabins. Will we get $100 shipboard credit for each cabin? or $100 total?
-
they can't wait to start in the mornings, counting down the minutes until CC opens,
What time DOES Camp Carnival open?
-
Just any pictures in general. :) The beach area, eating area. Isn't there someplace to see monkeys?? My kids would love that. :)
-
I think I should've reworded the title. I meant "Is there any advantage to rebooking while on a cruise". :) $100 sounds good! :D
plus two friends/family certificates good for 60 days who would also get the OBC if they book the same cruise during this time period.Well, we would be booking two cabins. Would we get $100 shipboard credit for each cabin?
-
Night Owls might be a little late for my kids. :o
What else did your kids like? :D
-
Do you get a discount if you book another cruise while ON a cruise?
-
Alright, well that won't work if we can't book 3 to a cabin. Thanks for the info! :)
-
I just read that the Spirit class ships have connecting balcony/inside cabins. True? How do I find these online? Can we book 2 people in the balcony and 3 inside?
-
I'm really disappointed to learn this. :( My kids are pretty adventurous eaters and love to try new food. I was hoping they could have a few meals with Camp Carnival and my DH and I could have a few nights alone in the MDR. I would feel really bad sticking them with those choices, though.
-
I have never been to that port before but I know that camp carnival is always open at other ports.
Still trying to figure out the whole "Camp Carnival" thing. So they close twice during the day, but on port days they don't?
-
We're going to take a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise. We will have two days in Cabo. On the second day, my DH and I were thinking it would be nice to go into town just the two of us. Will we be able to leave our kids (7, 9, and 10 years old) in Camp Carnival for 4-5 hours?

Does anybody have pictures of their trip to Las Caletas, Puerto Vallarta? :)

We are sailing on the Miracle in November. Will it have the new menu? Can somebody post a copy of it or a link? Thanks. :)
