  1. Thank you for the replies. Very useful. we have a very short window between our morning and afternoon excursion, so it’s good to know we could get a quick snack in our cabin.
  2. Does anyone have a photo of the room service menu please?
  3. Can anyone tell me where I find excursions, are they under My Saga on the left? Nothing is showing at the moment, but it’s probably too early as we don’t go until January. Thank you
  4. Yes P and O, possibly Fred Olsen. Saga have stricter rules, so even folding manual wheelchairs can only sail in an accessible cabin.
  5. January 12. So may not be available yet.
  6. On UK ships only manual wheelchairs or folding power chairs are allowed in standard cabins. All powered scooters, even folding ones, need an accessible cabin for health and safety rules.
  7. Can anyone tell me where to find excursions for our cruise? Have looked at My Saga, but can’t see excursions anywhere Thank you.
  8. It may be difficult for non Brits to get travel insurance that meets P and O requirement and also COVID vaccination proof as you need to get that from the NHS.
  9. I was told that they are changing to cruises around the British Isles which are proving more popular. Don’t know if this is true as they seem to make it up as they go along. Have got mine sorted at last, after 3 days phoning them and being told they would call me back the next day. Got a call yesterday evening to be told they would phone me early today soon after 9. Got my call at last around 3 o’clock.
  10. When is the 2024 brochure due? Tia.
  11. Very grateful that ships now have accessible cabins, but why is there so little storage in these cabins? Many disabled people have have a lot of medications which require water to take, or mouth rinsing. There is usually just a small shelf for toiletries but no space to store our medications. It wouldn’t be difficult to put a cupboard by the basin.
  12. Thank you Cpt. I was really thinking of finding our muster station on boarding rather than in an emergency.
  13. We have been given Muster station G on Iona and are mid deck 12. As I am in a wheelchair I would need to use the lifts to get anywhere I would like to know before we board so we can plan the best way to get there
  14. I am concerned about filling this in as I read somewhere that your cruise will be cancelled if you have recently visited certain countries prior to sailing. Could someone please post a full copy of the declaration? Thank you.
  15. Saw a link on Facebook to port guides showing all ports in alphabetical order with cafes, things to see etc, but can’t find it now. can anyone help please?
  16. 4 of us are on a similar cruise in 2023, hope the global situation is better by then and we can still go. We have spent years trying to persuade our friends to go on a cruise and a few months ago they agreed.
  17. Thank you all for replying. Phoned TA, asking them to check. Apparently because we changed cruises our benefits weren’t transferred. TA will call P and O next week (they can’t get through at the moment) and sort it out.
  18. Thanks for replying Pete. This is the code we are using. Will try again tomorrow.
  19. Trying to book our Free CPS parking for September and keep getting ‘voucher code invalid’. I am presuming that this should be our P and O code starting CD. Can anyone help please? Or is this just an IT glitch?
  20. Just found out Saga have decided that you can only go ashore if you book one of their excursions. We are due to go on 15 April and had booked one excursion in Amsterdam. Other port is Antwerp and we had intended to wander around on our own as I need a wheelchair and had found a good accessible map. No cost for us to do this. I phoned Saga (waited half an hour for response ) there is only one excursion, the tram for one hour, suitable for someone with mobility issues. Won’t be able to take my chair and have to ask on board ship if I can get assistance to the tram. Not very satisfactory and it’s going to be £29 per person.
