  1. I'll go back to the opening page as you suggest.
  2. On the 'OceanReady Profile' page there is a list of the booked cruises on the left with the first one (26 Jun) highlighted. I moved to the next one that yesterday had a row of green ticks. Now it only has one on MedallionPay. It isn't urgent. Maybe if I wait another day or two, the ticks will re-appear. I am just trying to master the system, but it isn't making it easy.
  3. On which page is the profile pic on the top right? I have only seen the page where it is in the centre. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
  4. The date that I am referring to is above our security pics on the page that has the green ticks. It says Coral Princess Jun 26 - Jul 03, 2022 That comes up even when I log on with the booking number of the next cruise. However, you explained how I could get around it by going to the 'arrival-departure' section and clicking on the next cruise that is shown there. I still find it puzzling that when I start off at that next cruise, it takes me to the full info page of the first cruise.
  5. Every time we only found out by logging into our booking, now known as P&O Cruise Control. Also be aware, that it is possible for the cabin to be changed prior to the cruise. Check it several days in advance so you don't have the wrong number on your bag tags.
  6. We have often booked as a guarantee and sometimes cabins weren't allocated until a week before the cruise, or even five days before.
  7. When I log in using the booking number for the second cruise, I get the opening page of the Medallion with a column of green ticks, but the date of the first cruise at the top.
  8. Thanks. I managed to access future bookings by going from the cruises listed on the arrivals/departure page of our June cruise. All good. I agree that Princess has been running the Medallion app for a few years in other parts of the world and I would have thought it would have been road tested and running well by now. However, we are getting there. 🙂 My husband would not have had the patience.
  9. Thanks. I am finding that your advice, and also advice from Geoff, are very helpful.
  10. That works like magic. 👍 Thanks very much. 😁 The personal info is stored and is there for the next cruise. I just have to choose the Medallion wearable, arrival and departure times, and complete the health status section. I now have the answer to the question I asked on the Live Chat with a Princess rep. He wasn't able to answer it and an expert was supposed to contact me. Didn't happen.
  11. Thanks very much. I will try that now. Where would we all be without this mutual help?????????
  12. I up-loaded our security photos a few days ago and had a green tick. This morning, the tick had been replaced by a red exclamation mark. On checking further, I found that it was Peter's photo that was rejected. After I reduced it from 348 KB to 130 KB, I got the green tick again.🙂
  13. How did you switch to a different cruise? When I started at the Personalizer for the 'second' cruise and went into the Medallion link, I got my info and green ticks, but the date at the time is that of the 'first' cruise. did you do this on your phone or PC?
  14. Thanks for the link to the article on seasickness. It is very interesting.
  15. Several of us have been using the web browser on our PC. I think that option has been there for quite some time.
  16. By the way, I answered my question from 1st May that MandE66 quoted above. It is - Just skip past the 'Travel Information' page unless you are booking flights.
  17. I am sorry the itinerary of your cruise was totally changed. It wasn't the cruise you signed up for and the cruiseline should have given you the option of disembarkation with a full refund plus airfares etc. If you stayed on board there should have been considerable compensation. I feel it is likely your insurance would still have covered you. In a broad sense, NZ is in the South Pacific. The definition in your insurance may mean that you were not covered for trips to USA or Europe. When I was researching travel insurance, I came across at least one company that paid a set amount of money for missed ports. I can't recall which company it was but it was one of the usual ones, I think one of those where you have to register and pay extra for cruise cover.
  18. Thanks. I will try that. Up to now, when I use my phone to open the Medallion app, the system shows my several bookings only in the section on arrival and departure times. This feature isn't shown at all when I open Medallion on my PC.
  19. If the staff who are applying the shareholder's credits are prioritising pax depending on the date of their cruise, yours should be finalised before mine. Your cruise is a week earlier. Please let us know when your OBC appears.
  20. Agreed. My son and his family fall into the first group (had symptoms but tested negative) and my brother's neighbours, in the last group. ☚ī¸ Health authorities believe this has been the case all along.
  21. Before the Christchurch earthquake in February 2011 the ships used to dock in Lyttleton, but after the extensive damage to the port facilities, ships called into Akaroa, a tender port. It is about two hours' drive from Christchurch. We have been on several cruises that called there. It has been reported that the port of Lyttleton that was badly damaged in 2011, is open again so ships will dock there. The OP (M-H-B) isn't going to Bay of Islands.
  22. Some yes, some no. The port for Dunedin is Port Chalmers, a 20-30 minute drive from the centre of Dunedin. For Christchurch, ships will dock at Lyttleton, a 20 min or so drive from the centre of Christchurch. At Picton, ships dock at a working wharf (timber loading) fairly close to the centre of the town. I seem to recall that everyone had to take a shuttle bus because pax are not allowed to walk on the dock. Napier is also a working wharf - once again timber loading. Pax are not permitted to walk on the dock. Free shuttle buses take pax the 10 mins into town. Wellington. The ships dock in town. It is probably a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town, but there is usually a free shuttle bus.
  23. We have always docked in those ports you mention. Lyttleton is the port for Christchurch.
