Just a heads up. Some of the itineraries are now completely changed from yesterday. The cruise we were going to book is now completely different.

I need a bigger hint. Any voyages going to Aqaba for Petra??
I didn’t see any. There’s one on NS that is very close to the 2024 sailing that has the overnight in Cairo but nothing going down as far as Petra. Azamara has a nice one that we’re booked on in October 2025

Hmmmmm. Have not heard of that before. Can we trade it for a Gin House? 🤷🏻♀️ Great to see some new options.

Of all the hotels in Waikiki I'd never book, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is at the top of the list. The Princess K has been on the demolition list for a decade now. At last note, the tower was slated to be torn down in 2021 with new construction to start in 2022. Covid put a stop to all those plans. That was at least the third time tear down & rebuild had been postponed in 10-12 years. Because of that the hotels has not had any major renovations, maybe light refreshses, but not enough to make we want to stay there.
This! We had it booked before and after our NCL cruise. 1 night was enough, cancelled and booked the moana surfrider for the return. We’ve stayed at the Ilikai, Sheraton, Surfrider, Hyatt & Marriott. I would return to all of those but not the SPK.

Lobster table side is the only thing I ever order from Murano. Will keep an eye on this before buying a dining package.

Nice find. Thank you.

Those cars in front of the outlet mall in the above pic are freaking me out. As you all know, there are no parking spaces along that stretch of Front Streets so there is absolutely no reason for there to be burnt out cars in that particular area.
Do you think those poor people just jumped out of their cars into the ocean along this stretch, or is there another explanation I'm not thinking of?
Anything other than jumping into the water is too horrifying to think about.

My brother and SIL are there now. They were supposed to leave tonight, they’re up by Kapalua so safe at this point. So sad.

Reading that Lahaina is gone. So devastating.

Didn't you both have to upgrade, making it $19.98 + 20% Grat? I called and it was around $431 for the both of us for our Solstice TP.
Yes we did but we were planning on both upgrading anyway. My original price was going to be $862. Martini bar for us makes upgrading a no brainer

Got the Classic to Premium upgrade for $9.99. For 17 days, that’s a huge savings. 🥳🥳🥳

I don’t think Portofino has a dock. You’ll tender if Portofino is on the itinerary.

Thanks for taking the time to do a review. We have our first Azamara cruise booked and of course a few worries about all the current issues. Fingers crossed they find their feet.

We have always been able to choose our cabin in over 50 cruises. We book usually a year or more out
The cruise in question is in 2025. I don’t think time is the issue.

Does it matter that the first leg stops at Victoria enroute to Vancouver? No

Only that Oceania sails out of Miami and not Ft. Lauderdale like HAL. Big difference IMHO.
Isn’t it like a $35 Uber ride?

Amount of time doesn’t bother me but the ports are boring and the time of year sucks. I’d happily spend 40+ days bobbing around the Med, but not on that ship
-
Wondering if with all of the booking issues, changing ports, lack of response, you’d recommend Azamara to anyone who hasn’t tried them yet?
-
Ugh…just read they changed the ports. Now it’s Nice on Race Sunday and not Monaco. That’s not good. Either they cheapened out or didn’t reserve their spot.

Yes. Visa required for travel for US and since you are from Canada, I think, you too? Not for certain yet, but looks quite likely. No more spontaneous trips to Europe.
It’s not a visa. It’s an on line electronic travel authorization. It should get approved in about an hour. How spontaneous do you plan on being? The US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand all currently have virtually the same thing.

Just looked it up on sale for $13.85 CAD. I'll let you know when I try it.
In BC it’s also sold in a box. It’s not bad.

It’s really bad on an IPad. Definitely try the desktop.
