Didn’t think about that. The first 3 day would put us at 15 ... so top status on the one beginning on the 4th ...hmmm

Us also. Guess we would just drive down that day
princess should offer a really special deal on a 6 day cruise for those already booked on the 4 th. Along with a 5 day pep and 5 days of grays
yeah right.

My TA was told my cruise is only being offered with a non refundable deposit. It is not part of any sale.
dog ... not doubting your TA at all ... but how about posting your cruise here, if you want... some pretty good posters on here who may be able to help you in the right direction ... worth a shot ?

Agree 6 is about right. You may want to visit the maitre'd on boarding day to review your table assignment. Tables for two tend to be right next to each other in a line, maybe a foot apart. Don't know the Sky's layout.
and that foot can act as a boundary of sorts ...

What do you guys do in the shower that you need them to be bigger?
I'm 6' and can easily wash, shave legs etc, hubby is 6' and by no means slim and has no problem.
What do you need extra room for?
both at the same time to conserve water ... maybe ? ... or not ...

I agree and if sharing becomes an issue they will probably do what other cruise lines do. They will require all passengers 21 and over who are sharing the same room to purchase it.
and when, not if, that happens ... it will be the end of us purchasing drink packages ... will carry on fuzzy water, wine, maybe buy a bucket of beer or so and with the mini-bar we'll be just fine ...

I was not even aware of the GETAWAy promotion. I was just happy to get booked. But when I booked online, I was not given a GETAWAY option. Apparently that promotion is limited to a small supply of staterooms, and the stateroom we wanted was not available at that rate. Probably due to the demand for deluxe balcony/balcony staterooms.
CALL PRINCESS ... the banner shows it is covered by the GETAWAY promotion ... website "could" be wrong
Disclaimer: ... sometimes these promotions are 'capacity controlled'
Make the call ... see what happens ... ask for a supervisor if necessary ...

I had tried to previously book the Sky inaugural 3 day and the Princess site kept showing the voyage sold out. When I received the e-mail today, I used one of the links to check and see if any staterooms had been made available that were not shown before. Surprisingly, there were. We are now booked on the 3 day Sky trip on Dec 4. We were fortunate a few years ago to also be on the Regal 3 day inaugural out of Ft. Lauderdale. The 3 day Sky will be our 15th cruise and result in Elite status for our 14 day Regal in February 2020.
thanks ... when you just booked the 3 day SKY , were you able to book under the GETAWAY promotion where the 2nd person was 50% off ?

Oh, I missed the PBP part. I’m afraid I will always call it the coffee card... my bad.
no problem, of course .... i'm more interested in how those 'coffee cards' with punches remaining are working out now

Good point. One reason to pre-order would be to insure whatever it is you want is available. But I doubt they'd run out of the meager selection they have anyway. Still, I will probably pre-order 1 bottle just to be sure, and hope I get it on departure day.
when we did preorder , it was just to prepay , so not to have that charge on the final bill
I know ... I know ... time value of money ... compound interest ... Princess using our money ..

Were you unable to switch out the elite mini bar or the suite mini bar for coffee cards or both?
note "cards" not package ... with the PBP, the coffee package is included ... so there is no benefit with swapping
a mini bar for a package ... except to use the package 15 to buy coffees for other people ...
mayble

By memory around 12 dollars. I find the drink package as long as you drink at least 12 drinks a day it is worth it.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 - 7 alcoholic drinks to 'breakeven ... depending on what you are drinking ... more if beer ... less if a decent wine in Vines ... and don't forget the water, coffees, teas are also included
NO SHARING of ANY !!

If someone says punch...you know what they mean. Don't have to say there's no card to punch.
Yes Tea Fusion they take one off.... regular tea no.
thanks for the info

I guess the 15 days of dried out fettuccine is an indication that it wasn't going to get better. It's like doing the same thing over and over again expecting better results. It's like the bacon on Lido, it's never changed from my experience and expecting it to is not being realistic....coffee too, so we bring our own.
lido will cook your bacon 'extra crispy' if you ask for it ... I do ... sometimes it's already there ... and sometimes you might have to wait for it
can't eat it otherwise ...

Last time on the Grand, our wonderful steward had his own form for us to fill out with what we wished to swap. That was a first!
so did the steward make the actual swap out, or did he/she just pass on the info to room service ?
