what was the nature and results of your emails?
-
just for the record, Princess can refuse to serve you at any time for a variety of reasons and if you purchased a drink package, it is non-refundable.

I can certainly think of a few posters here on these cruise critic threads that I wouldn't want to be trapped at for dinner. Of course, I'm sure I would be at the top of most peoples lists, which would be a shame since I am a listener in real life - well up to a point that is. My BS meter has a very low tolerance these days...

I'm guessing that tablemates are a lot like the posters on this forum...if you know what I mean...
you never know, huh?
until you do...

but, you gotta admit - when Kevin Harvick finished in the top 10 - the bloomin' onion was a great deal
-
then go - and post on their board

I have ordered the 375 scotch for the room, and it was almost as cheap as buying the mini's at our local...
Hey now!

aft pool on Regal?

what does 'had success' entail?
-
dunno, but we were asked by more than a few crew members to fill out the review survey. We did - specifically mentioning a couple of names in Vines - Carmen, and the wheelhouse bar - Cherry:cool:

How are the lamb chops in the CG, which is what I may order on our next cruise? - my wife will get her go to Lobster, and of course we will share a few bites.
We've got a Don Shula's less that 5 miles from the house, and quite honestly, I can go to the Meat Market - about 15 minutes away, if we want a specialty steak at home. Charcoal and wood chips

I am fully aware, as is my wife, that the mdr police may not let us in on formal night, or any other night, based on what I am wearing. I have no problem with that. I do question why on our last cruise on the only formal night - the hostess asked to see our cruise card. Do you get preferred admittance and seating, or lack thereof, depending on your loyalty level??

Voljeep:
Didn't mean it as an attack at all(I looked at this post as I thought ALL shorter cruises had been stopped and wanted to see why) but since you took it that way I want to give you my apology. But I, too, have noticed recently a lot of your posts aren't in the most positive vein. I hope all is fine with you.
No need to apologize, Pooh - I actually think you are one of the better posters on these threads. I came from another set of forums, non-cruise related, and my most vile post/attack? would rate about a 1.5 on a scale of 10 with ten being the string of direct personal attack using every word that even sailors don't use in front of their mamas.
As this board is different, I have tried to tone down my postings

Not going to get into a long(er) post unless somebody responds to this.
Was at a table once with a person that stated "Call_Me_Barn" as his name, which I later learned was Theo...

what 'freebies' do they give out, if any, for you to take back to your cabin and then home?
-
You could easily walk to panera bread or starbucks, or walk a little further to publix or Duffy's.
All have wifi.
As I understand it, and never done it, aren't you walking out of a secured area by Port Authority, and then walking back into the same secured area?
If so, what travel documents do you need to take to get back into the secured area?
-
is there an official listing ( I know, it's Princess ) of all potential credits that can be given and if they are refundable or non-refundable?:evilsmile:

I hope that is a joke post - but yes, without socks
And a sidenote - just before every cruise I get a pedicure so my feet/toes could easily win a best male feet competition.
and I usually do a clearcoat for the toenails, but not always???
-
Echo sandals - thank me now- and yes, I have worn them into the mdr on both formal and smart casual nights.
formal nights - with a black pair of linen pants:evilsmile:
-
Self service laundry if tokens are required instead of coins.
on Crown it was $3 a load to wash and $3 to dry + detergent, dryer sheets if you didn't bring those.
just a thought
-
That was just excellent !! Hope you continue to post more of your experiences

We have also chosen the Crown Grill on "formal night" for our next cruise. The mdr ...

Just to be clear, Princess is offering plenty of short cruises after March, just none out of the port the OP uses.
It would be nice if there were some way to have topic titles corrected, since so many pass along false "facts."
P.S.: I feel for you, voljeep. If I were near a port I'd like to have the option of a shorty too, especially so close to Elite.
Voljeep wanted to get attention by the wording I think as it is definitely misleading isn't it?
Pooh
Sorry, but no Poohbie - I didn't consider the other ports and stand corrected:evilsmile:
why the personal attack?

Again, thanks Jim for the clarification:cool:

how was the food in the mdr?
1) terrible - couldn't even eat it
2) decent cafeteria type food, typical for a cruise ship
3) excellent, and the service was great !
4) we don't eat in the mdr, but i'm going to post anyway, just cause
