I was on the 10day cruise.. yes prices for boot camp was high considering it was only 30minutes.But I am so use to doing classes I just did them. I do believe they follow a set programme on this ship so when I am back on in march I may have to rethink on doing them again.

They were anchored fine you had plenty of room to move and do all exercises. Not sure if you can bring your own but i doubt it. The classes i did was some times staggered. A few of the sea days i had a boot camp at 10 am and then a trx at 4. Stopped me from drinking that is for sure! You had five bootcamps which were 180.00 dollars and then 4 trx classes. As i said i was the only one on the ship that did all of them. We had a guy from glasgow and a girl from whales and both were fantastic.

I did the trx classes on the royal they were awesome. I was the only one who did them and they were done at 4 pm, a bit late but i still did them. They were 45 minutes long and were done bootcamp style very quick. You could not use the trx on your own they were only for classes.

They were 20 dollars a class.

We are booked on the royal for two 10 day back to back cruises. We have booked a guarantee and wont know what room we are in until a week before the cruise. What happens if we are not in the same room for the latter cruise. Do we have to put our luggage out or keep it with us. They did say there is a chance we wont be in the same room

Just off the royal. Everyone can have different packages. My daughter didnt drink but bought the coffee card. Worked out great.

Enjoyed the ship as we have not sailed princess in along time. Staff were amazing around the whole ship. Food for me was very subjective. Lunch was not fantastic in my point of view buffet was cold at times and could have had a asian buffet. British pub lunch was the best i could have ate that at dinner. Elevators was sort of a pain but then just ended up taking the stairs. Pizza place was awesome movies under the stars were great. Enjoyed the international coffe shop also. Gym was awesome also to. Activities were great for everyone. I will definately sail again on the royal.

Needing to buy cigarettes for a friend on an island. Just wondering if I buy them in st. Thomas can I bring them aboard.

Please do, thanks. My memory may just be faulty (which could totally be the case), because we were in Puerto Rico a few years ago and I don't recall bringing our passports there either. I've just checked with my husband and he doesn't think we brought them ashore with us in St Thomas in March.:confused:

Yes i will let you know. All the other carribean ports we have not had to bring the passports. Only the usa carribean ports. I really dont like taking my passports off but i do want to get back on the ship!!!

Both times we had to have our passports in st. thomas. Americans do not as it is an american port. Canadians had to. Also we had to show them in puerto rico aslo as that is an american port to. We will be heading there next week so will let you know again what happens.

If you are canadian and going to St. thomas you will need your passport. As this is an american port you will need it for getting back on ship. We did not carry it and we were made to go back up to cabin and produce it to the guards.Any other island just your ship id is good.

On cnn that people will get a 25 percent rebate on a future cruise. I am sorry if i was on that cruise and could not go to any islands i would want full compensation. That is ridiculous. If people accept that they are crazy!

Personally I think this is great news. This just made me book a cruise and take my daughter with us as we share a room, so 3 in the room. She does not drink at all, I will have wine with my dinner which I will take my own on or purchase it and my husband can drink away. While on Holland America we both had to purchase it and can get 15 drinks a day and didn't matter whose card they punched. Personnally if hal limits the drinks who really cares if both use it as then it is just 1 less for the person. Didn't make sense but oh well. Glad to see it and we now are sailing with princess again. As the women said they listened to their passengers.!

well didn't want to take a chance. midship and lower is fine and we didn't lose any of our perks.

Well travel agent was just on phone and definitely can not use the balcony on sea days. Also when couch is pulled out you can not even get on the balcony. It is definitely in writing. So now we are back down on emerald with an ubstructed view but with a pullout for our daughter and a queen bed! And mid ship!

okay so they now switched us to a front room on marina deck #102. They say on the website you can not use the balcony on sea days. We have 6 days, I wish they would have said something. I may switch again or just cancel this cruise altother! The royal seems to be an awkard ship!

yes apparently it is a bunk. Thankfully my travel agent caught on and called princess. They kept our reservation with our prepaid gratuities and our 200onboard credit and moved us up to the 15th deck with a front balcony. Happy that they did this as they could have started the reservation over. And we got the pricedrop!

Can someone please answer a question for me. I have booked a room on the royal on the emerald deck with an obstructed view, will have to check room number but pretty sure it was in the 500's. We have 3 in the room. Now my travel agent just called and they said that there is 3 single beds in this room and no pullout. I have never heard of this at all and the pictures do not show it. Normally they put the two singles into a queen and then there is a pullout. Any one know of this. Thanks

Okay so I know they have all inclusive packages, soda and coffee cards, but am I reading correctly on here they have bucket of beer packages! Never heard of this one.

Being that we have been all a lot of ships. We were on the equinox when the Stanley cup finals were on and could not pic it up. Yes they can have 55 t.vs but they need to upgrade there satelites systems. British bar should show british soccer and I wish that would happen but I cant see it! All they seem to show is cricket and basketball!

We go to aruba for 3 months every winter and yes hang out with the locals. The beaches will be busy as this is a main hollidy time for the arubans. They love to have fun and will not bother you when you are there. They are just enjoying what is theirs. Have fun and enjoy the sights you will have fun!

Yes if it was unlimited that would be one thing but hals beverage package is not unlimited. You are limited to 15 drinks per day wether alcoholic or not. Princess has now switched to what celebrity does. So yes you may get a few that cheats the system but I personally would not bring my daughter on hal if she had to get the card as she does not drink. And if you want to share your 15 a drink a day card that means less for you!! I am sure hal will follow suit.

We to were on that cruise. We enjoyed it but we enjoyed the niew Amsterdam much better. I did the survey also and had said the same food was just so so this time. Lunch buffet was better than the dinners. Annoying drums at the back pool every day. Also the drink package I really commented on that. If they limit the drink package to 15 a day why are they making people in the room all take it. If you want to get a drink for someone on that card that just takes away a drink from yourself, just doesn't make sense. Hense princess cruise line just changed there policy as I was just on the phone with them. They listened to their passengers and changed it to just whoever wants it in the room can have it!! So we have now booked a princess cruise with my daughter all 3 in a room and only my husband has to have it. If we want a drink we will purchase it. I told them we would likely not sail with them again unless they change this policy!

Well just cruised the eurodam and wow that balcony was the smallest I have ever had. we had to go out sideways no room at all. I normally love hal but the eurodam fell short of my expectations. I loved the sister ship niew Amsterdam. We have booked got a fantastic deal we took an obstructed balcony which I don't care and got 200 to spend on board and only had to put 200 deposit down for all three of us. I love sea days and plan to use what the ship have to offer. Hoping not to participate in formals this time around but that could depend on my daughter!
