Welcome to Cruise Critic. It is a shame that you've been on nearly 20 cruises and are only coming here now. I can't help but find it odd that you were "assured multiple times" about babysitting. Why wasn't once enough? It just seems odd to repeatedly ask the same question. You didn't miss a policy. They are your children and you are responsible for them...especially on a family vacation out of the country...but of course, you already know that. I'm sorry that having to be with your children "ruins your European cruise". Perhaps you can make the best of it and enjoy time with your family. I can't imagine that your children really want to go all the way to Europe only to be tossed into a daycare. Lousy vacation IMHO. Both the babysitting question and the leaving the children onboard question are specifically addresses in the FAQ section of NCL's website under Youth Programs: Frequently Asked Questions (ncl.com)

Well, you aren't the first poster to use an incomplete thread title, and you won't likely be the last. I certainly can't fault you for that. However, we all should be reading the posts in the thread prior to responding and not all going off of the thread title. That way we don't all get into the weeds of repetitive answers.

You misread again. You thought it was Captain, not Capitan.

The OP (in post #1) already said it was on the Prima. They asked what OTHER ships it was on.

I don't think being hostile was the intent. They likely thought you were complaining because you are asking a question that none of us could possibly answer. Only the governmental taxing authority could tell you "why" there is a difference. I believe that you are just curious, but given that you notice this on board a ship you should ask the people there...the people who are actually collecting the tax...your questions. They are far more likely to know "why".

If anyone has daily planners for either the 3 or the 4 day sailings (or both) for the Meraviglia out of Port Canaveral, it would be appreciated if you could post/share them. MDR menu captures would also be appreciated, but I'm more interested in the planners if you have them. TIA
