  1. I am well into Elite Plus with Celebrity (close to 1,400 points) and was given Gold on MSC. The person with post #106 was given the same (Gold) as a Celebrity Select passenger. It seems to be a very broad range of loyalty statuses going into Gold.
  2. We just booked the Oceania Regatta April 4, 2021 sailing from Tahiti to San Francisco. We chose the 'House Beverage Package' from the O-Life options. It only includes wine or beer with lunch and dinner. (Good grief!) Can anyone tell me if once on board we would be able to upgrade to the Premium Beverage Package? The price difference seems to me $20 per day, per person. TIA
  3. Thank you for posting this question, and for those that volunteered an answer. We will be taking our first Regent cruise in January. It is good to know that there is such a thing as a crew fund, and what is considered an acceptable donation. If I had only learned about the crew fund on our first Regent cruise I would have struggled with what amount to donate. We normally add $10 a day (in total) when on other cruise lines that have automatic tipping, so it is right in line with our comfort level.
  4. Thank you so much for your replies. I was hoping that was the case so am thrilled to learn of your experiences!
  5. We recently booked a Royal Suite on the Eclipse for this April. Because it was booked at 'resident promotional' pricing my travel agent said it wouldn't include the 'Go Best' amenities. I wondered if that meant that ALL of the amenities would be removed? Has anyone has the experience of not receiving the in-suite two bottles of alcohol, complimentary water, beer and soft drinks in the bar, and/or the premium beverage package when sailing in a Royal Suite due to a promotional price? These amenities are normally only provided with the Royal and Penthouse suites.
  6. We will be on a transatlantic crossing on the Celebrity Eclipse next month (April 2018) and learned today that we will have to have a couple documents notarized while at sea in order to facilitate the sale of a property. Has anyone every had to have something notarized while on a ship? And if so, was there a person on the ship that was a Norary or Commissionaire of Oaths? Any actual knowledge or experience of this type of situation would be greatly appreciated.
