We just got off a 4 night cruise on Liberty. Our mistake as Spring Break had already started (March 4)! There were more than 4,200 guests and more than 800 kids. Lots of older teens, twenty-somethings, and families. Luckily, we could go to the Suite Lounge and we used our BOGOs for dinner in Sabor and Giovanniâs (both excellent). The Windjammer was packed at breakfast/lunch (and probably dinner), and MTD was packed the two nights we went. Great staff though, and good food everywhere!

We walked to the end of the Boardwalk and had a fantastic lunch at Muelle3. Small restaurant where locals were eating. We split Ceviche and Calamari, which was enough for both of us. The menu was in Spanish and the staff did not really speak English. Good thing our waitress pointed to a 1/2 order of the Ceviche. It was huge and delicious! Also a nice selection of Hot Sauces!

We took the Deluxe Coastal Cruise shipâs tour today. We were unaware that we needed to get a tender ticket yesterday, so we had to wait until noon to get off with our tour ticket and meet on the dock. We boarded a large Catamaran (held 99 people), but it did not seem crowded. Plenty of room for all! As we sailed out of the harbor, we were told by the crew it was an âopen barâ! It appeared no one (including us) was aware of that. The crew worked very hard to make sure everyone was taken care of, and brought around snacks throughout the 2 hour trip! The Captain sailed around the fantastic rock formations and we saw many whales sitting offshore. Unfortunately, we were not quick enough with our cameras to catch a photo of a breech or a tail, but the whales were fun to watch (as always)! The weather was perfect, the music was lively, and we had a great time!

Glad you liked your tour in Antigua! It looked fabulous! Very smart to have the decoy pocket - glad it was only $12. We spoke to others last night that also enjoyed their day in Antigua. We elected to stay on the ship instead of taking our planned, long, 8 hour tour since we will be back in October. Hopefully the weather will be cooler then. We wandered around the Port area a bit and Jim bought a shirt from one of the vendors. There was a lovely band playing in the little park area, and we enjoyed their music from our balcony all afternoon. Funny - the Port area also had a Jade Museum!

We share your opinion of Puntarenas! So much trash everywhere and mostly unappealing scenery. We took the Panoramic Tour, and after a loong bus ride, we arrived at a small park. There was a small craft market set up (real local crafts) and a group of young children ready to perform a folkloric dance show. They were adorable, the youngest little boy was 3, and it was his first time performing. After a couple of songs, they brought several women and a man from the audience to join them, which was fun to watch! The cruise guests were good! After this stop, we were taken to a large, commercial gift shop with most products likely made in China. We were stuck here for 45 minutes, then driven almost another hour back to the ship. Couldnât wait to get back onboard! Some pictures of the Park and children dancing! Didnât bother taking any other photos!

Our balcony is on the shady side of the ship, so itâs pretty comfortable sitting out here right now. We are not on the dockside, so we just have a lovely view of the beaches and mountains! Hope it stays nice so we can relax out here after our tour. According to the ship information, sunset tonight is at 5:44, which seems really early, even though we moved the clocks back an hour last night!
