  1. Hello everyone! Computer is acting up, and when I get internet access, it is limited...so excuse me if this is a repetitive question.... Sailing Liberty of the Seas Dec 1st. Been quite a few years since I sailed....what is the dress code for the dining room. Are men welcome with nice dress shorts and a polo shirt? Jeans? I seem to remember it was strict about 10 years ago when I last traveled.... any input? I , myself, will probably be wearing a sundress of some sort. Thanks for your input!

  2. So wondering if anyone has ever booked an excursion after walking off the ship. Are there local tour guides there to do this? Basically just can't make up my mind, and we are leaving in a week. Another concern is if we were to book ahead of time the blue hole, or river rafting, and it isn't a nice day. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

  3. We are cruising into Montego Bay in December and interested to know if anyone has done the Thrill Seekers Pass excursion offered by RCI. I have three boys between the ages of 11 and 16. Just sounds like there is so much in one excursion that I am worried that you don't get to do enough of each activity. Anyone know from experience??? Thanks so much!

I am also curious. We are cruising into Ochos Rios, and wondering how much time is spent on each of these activities, to make it worth while.

  4. Hi, plan on staying Nov 30th for one night somewhere in the Fort Lauderdale beach area. Has anyone recently taken a cab from the airport to a hotel in that vicinity, and then again the next day to the Port? Curious on the fees, as I am now talking with hotels and getting their shuttle fees of approximately $18 for two people, from airport and then again to port. Any recent experiences is appreciated! Not stuck on the beach area for a hotel either, not arriving till about 4:30 pm day before cruise.

  5. Hi, I am sailing on the Liberty on December 1st. Not sure if we want to do any of the excursions or not. Can you decide and pay that day on the island? or is this something you must do on the ship? Also, what are the chances of the excursions selling out, as we are the only ship there? Looking at the water slide, or dragon coaster, maybe ziplining.... Thanks!

  6. Very excited, my boyfriend and I (49 50) Just booked Liberty of the Seas for Dec 1st for five nights! Glad my vacation approval took a bit, as the price had dropped to $199/pp for an inside room! I am very excited to be on a bigger and new RC ship. I was on the Enchantment of the Seas in 2004 and Majesty of the seas in 2011, then a girls trip on Carnival in 2012. This is my boyfriend's first cruise, and I can't wait!! I must add that I was very interested in Princess, as one of their newer ships was cruising around the same time at a great price, but I am hoping and I am sure I will enjoy the fellow cruisers and atmosphere way better on Royal!! Wooohoooo!

  7. I am booking for a early December cruise on Liberty of the Seas, and it has been a very long time since I cruised. I was also wondering how the My Time Dining works. Do you call and make reservations? Do you show up? How long do you usually have to wait? Thanks!
