This is hysterical to me, because I also was looking at the Princess cruise for my boyfriend and I. Also looking at the Liberty for the same time. The fact that it is a newer ship also intrigued me. I was interested in the Grand Turks port, but by reading some opinions, it is just a beach day. The Liberty has a beach day in Labadee. The funny thing is, I have sailed RCI before, and here I am on this forum wondering the same thing! Curious to see what answers and opinions everyone would have on the Princess forum. But ultimately, we are late 40's and very active and are "people" people. That is why I am booking on the Liberty of the Seas. I think is has more to offer, and just sounds to me like Princess may be alittle more laid back than we want. Waiting for that vacation approval and I am booking the Liberty for December 1st!

Hi everyone. I am looking to book a 5 or 6 nite cruise early December. Very confused with pricing I am getting on Nov 30th cruise in Independence of the Seas. It is quoted as one price, but when you go though with the reservation, It comes up differently. At first it looks like this is the same price as a 5 nite leaving the day before on Liberty of the Seas. Can someone check it out and let me know what you get? I am looking for the cheapest inside room!

I was considering that Princess cruise early December also. Wasn't too sure about Mexico, but now the raving about Belize has me thinking. A major consideration for me....how do the pools compare on these two ships? I am just starting to look. Do either of them have adult pool areas also? I am also concerned about the pool "crowd", does Princess have pool games and DJ's such as Royal would have?
