    We've had a connecting cabin in the past & heard nothing from that area BUT they weren't the best neighbors out on their balcony. Liked the extra space by the connecting door for putting stuff like the laundry basket, tote bags, etc.

    Kat -- on your barge cruise, did the barge have anything on it besides your group? Was it a working barge?

    Thanks - I just looked at a more expanded deck plan & it looks like the lifeboats are behind our cabin so probably not in the way except for looking aft.

    We are booked in cabin 4116 --- narrow-ish balcony but covered & lifeboat tops in front of us --- don't know if it's still available but we were offered a cabin on Deck 6 -- wider uncovered balcony ---- pros & cons to each please.... TIA.

    Good for you on using hand signals as well as verbal commands. We learned the value of hand signals when our now 12 year old Eskipoo suddenly went deaf --- hubby had trained him, as a puppy, with hand signals for come, stay, sit & wait so now, even though we still say the commands, he obeys the hand commands....

    No, they aren't....we still see the same non-Kaiser MDs that we had BUT for some services a referral is needed to that particular practice (e.g. I needed a steroid injection in my shoulder but my PCP had to send an order to Kaiser for approval).

    We don't have Medication coverage with Medicare Parts A & B --- it's covered by our Kaiser plan. Also check & see if your cancer med manufacturer has a coupon or whatever for your med - I'm on Spiriva & have a $0 copay with a manufacturer's coupon & has no expiration date.

    We found Alaska very casual compared to the Caribbean---actually wore a turtleneck & sweater to Gala Night & I'm a woman.

    We have Kaiser & are happy with them. You might see how much your pricy drugs cost with GoodRx......one of hubby's meds is $1500 without GoodRx ---$17.50 with it.

    This has probably already been answered but....do the outlets in the cabin remain 'powered' if there isn't a card in the light controller box?

    It's a straight hem but I'll just bring the wedge sandals - I can wear those with pants, too.

    If anybody cares, the Medium Lands End dress fits much better but it's still too long....I guess I'll have to pack my wedge sandals after all.
